Frequently Asked Questions: This page contains answers to common questions of students and parents.
How do I know if my child has homework?
Please make it a habit to check your child's daily assignment notebook and homework folder each night. In the daily assignment notebook, your child will write what we learned and what the assignment is for each subject. The homework folder contains assignments that need to be finished, important letters, and corrected papers.Back to Top
How much homework should my child have each night?
You should expect your child to have no more than 15 to 20 minutes of homework on most nights. I do expect fourth graders to read a minimum of 20 minutes at least four times each week. It is also important to review math facts and spelling words at home.Back to Top
Each child may bring in his/her own snack to eat during milk and snack break. Healthy snacks are recommended. Most students find it convenient to keep a box of granola bars or crackers in their lockers.Back to Top
