Hi! Welcome to my classroom website. This is my 25th year of
teaching elementary students, and my 19th year of teaching at Rosholt
Elementary. Rosholt Elementary is a great school that is surrounded with
enthusiastic students, staff, and parents.
I live in Stevens Point with my daughter, Rachel. Rachel is in seventh
grade at PJ Jacobs and likes to dance, sing, play her violin, and compete in
soccer. We have a cat named Simba. He thinks he is really a dog!!
Here's a little more information about my educational background. I
graduated from UW-Platteville in 1985 with a B.S. in Elementary
Education. In 2002, I received my Masters Degree in Teacher
Leadership from Silver Lakes College in Manitowac, WI.
In my freetime, I like to spend time with my family and friends. I
also enjoy traveling, biking, reading, and going to concerts, musicals,
plays, and sporting events.
In my classroom, I promote an atmosphere of trust, cooperation, and
respect. I encourage my students to always do their best and go above
and beyond what is expected. I enjoy teaching students with a
"hands-on" approach and watching students develop a love of learning.
