What is the purpose of the SPC Recreation Department?
The purpose of the Sauk Prairie Community Recreation Department is to provide
centralized leadership for multiple youth and adult programs. The SPCRD will
assist with organizational details revolving around volunteer parent
developed programs in the Sauk Prairie area.

When can I visit the Sauk Prairie CEC to find information?
The SPCEC is open daily from 7:30am-4:00pm. Please contact the SPCEC during
holidays to determine hours of availability.

When is registration for my child in various recreation programs?
Registration dates/deadlines vary for each particluar program, please look on
the left side of this website and scroll down to find the particluar sport
you are interested in. Please note that these deadlines are generally final
and important to adhere to. Details pertaining to the program will be listed
on the appropriate links and forms.

What if I miss the registration deadline for a recreation program?
Please contact the Recreation Director immediately to determine if your child
will be able to participate. Deadlines are set due to the various
preparations for an upcoming program that need to take place well in advance
to the start of the program, and need to be adhered to as much as possible.

I am interested in assisting with a recreation program, how may I help?
All youth recreation programs are conducted through parent-volunteer basis,
normally by committee developed to distribute responsibilities. There are
numerous ways to become involved, from coaching to concessions, please
contact the coordinator of the particluar program you are interested in, or
the Recreation Director for more information.

What if I feel something could be done better, who do I contact?
First and foremost, the Recreation Department encourages all people involved
to be active in the effectiveness for our programs. If an individual would
like to see change, we would encourage that person to contact the program's
coordinator and offer their assistance in a proper manner (time and place).
You may also contact the Recreation Director to set up a time to meet and
discuss your visions for a particular program.
