                                        Letter for week of 11/30

Dear Parent(s),

All of the children did an outstanding job at Mass today. I was very
proud of them. We have one more Mass for us to do. That Mass will be right
after Christmas Break. I hope all of you had a nice Thanksgiving.
This week we will begin preparing for Christmas. Our room will be
decorated and Advent wreaths will adorn the wall outside of our room. We will
begin discussion in Religion about the Advent season and what Advent means.
Please remember that my class will have Reconciliation on Thursday
afternoon.
We will begin a cool non-fiction story about the Titanic. This next
reading theme is always a favorite for kids. It is all about "disasters."
Continue to work on multiplication at home. We are moving into fractions
and decimals in our book. Please make sure that assignment notebooks are
being signed and homework is being completed. Thank you!
I look forward to Wednesday's Packer Day. The children are excited as
well. Remember that they should wear green, gold, and/or Packer attire!
Enjoy the rest of the week!

                                            Mrs. Nelson
