"TEAMWORK is what the Green Bay Packers were all about. They didn't do
it for individual glory. They did it because they loved one another."
-Vince Lombardi
I think of my class as a team. A team of individuals who will respect
each other, themselves, and all of God's world. Our team will score high
when following the rules below. "It's the SPIRIT that makes the difference!"
St. John the Baptist School's Mission: Grow in knowledge of the Catholic
faith, Strive for Academic excellence, and Serve God and others.
Classroom Rules to ensure a "grandslam/touchdown/slamdunk" of a year:
1. Sit down for lunch count and announcements.
2. Do not run in our room.
3. Use please, thank you, and you are welcome in our room.
4. Be a good listener.
5. Raise your hand when you want to share with the class.
6. Share and work cooperatively with your peers.
7. Be responsible for your belongings and for keeping your own desk clean.
8. Remember to act in a Christian-like manner during Mass and daily
classroom prayer and reflection time.
*It is expected that students will be respectful and follow all school set
rules from the school handbook.
*I always encourage my students to be positive and to use polite manners.
*St. John the Baptist School also enforces a NO BULLYING policy that will
involve a note home for the first offense, an after school detention for the
second offense, and a parent/teacher conference if the child is caught
bullying a third time.
