The students at SJB just got smarter, the Technology Committee decided to
purchase two more SmartBoards. The new boards are in Mrs. Behrens' Science
room and Mrs Friend/Mr Stancyzk's Math/Religion room. We now have four
SmartBoards, the other two are in Mrs. Burch and Mrs. Nelson's classrooms.
In order to keep up with this technology advancement Mrs. Behrens, Mrs.
Friend, Mrs. Huber, Mrs. Burch and Mrs. Nelson took classes provided by
UW-Green Bay on the use of SmartBoards in the classroom. Please stop by one of
these classroom and see technology and your children in action.
During this school year, I hope to do a short unit on digital photography with
the 7th and 8th graders. We have one digital camera at school. If anyone has
upgraded and their old camera still works, I would greatly appreciate the
