Frequently Asked Questions: This page contains answers to common questions of students and parents.
I will try to keep my homework policy consistent with your child's teacher's homework policy so it doesn't get confusing as to what each teacher expects. If incomplete assignments become a problem, I may need to alter the plan.Back to Top
What is your discipline policy?
My classroom rules include... *Listen to your teacher and follow directions. *Do your best on your assignments. Please do them neatly and by yourself. Hand them in on time. *Respect other people and their property. *Raise your hand before you talk. I believe these are similar to what your child's regular teacher expects too. If a student does not follow the rules, I will try to follow the regular teacher's procedures for discipline, so please review the policy for your child's teacher. Please remember that I am only in each classroom between 30 and 45 minutes each day for Science so we need to work well together during that time to accomplish great things!!Back to Top

If I am teaching when you call, you will be forwarded to my voicemail to leave a message. I will try to get back to you as soon as I can after I receive your message. You can also e-mail me through this website or at my home e-mail majerusk@verizon.net. I try to check my e-mails often.Back to Top
Are you teaching Science alone or with my child's regular teacher?
For the 4th graders (Mrs. Raflik's students) and the 5th graders (Mrs. Grimes' students) I will be teaching their Science classes by myself. For the multiage 4/5 classroom (Mrs. Murphy's students) I will be working together with Mrs. Murphy.Back to Top
