Week of November 9th....
We are really excited to be planning Tuesday's Mass - the feast of St Leo the
Great. Since we are studying about the parts of the Mass, we completed a
powerpoint presentation that father said we could use during the Mass to
teach the other children about the parts. We are ready to sing and praise
the Lord.
In Science, we are learning about the different kinds of rocks - sedimentary,
metamorphic, and igneous. Ask your child to tell you about these.
In Social Studies, we are studying about the early people who lived in
Wisconsin. I'm sure we can teach you all a thing or two about how these
people lived over 10 million years ago
We are doing multiplication in math, but still reviewing place value with
addition and subtraction.
We will finish up with singular, plural, and possessive nouns and get into
verb practice in English.
We continue to get to know one another and try to stay on the green by
getting our assignments in on time, accepting consequences, and being on
task. We live God's mission by doing our best and being kind. We will learn
from the best of God's children when Mr. Joe Turicik speaks at 10:00 A.M.
about his experiences as a Veteran on Wednesday in the PAC. You are welcome
to attend.
Have a terrific week!
Sincerely,
Julie Murphy
