Welcome to my website! I love being a teacher and have taught several
different grade levels including Foreign Language. Teaching is my passion!
I love to see my students' faces light up when they learn something new, or
feel a touch of success. It is an honor that you have entrusted me to teach
your child. 2 Teach is 2 Touch Lives 4-Ever!
On a personal note, I graduated from Silver Lake College in 1995. I
continue to pursue graduate credits in various areas of interest to keep up
with my teaching license. My husband and I have two sons. We love to camp,
snowmobile, watch sports, and spend time outdoors. I enjoy stamping,
scrapbooking, shopping, and reading. I am a huge Green Bay Packer's fan and a
Chicago Bear's fan. I know, I get teased often, especially when they play
against each other! I enjoy watching and attending Brewers games and enjoy
keeping up with Nascar driver stats. Mostly, I love spending quality time
with my three guys!
I believe that all children can and will learn with the proper tools and
guidance. Though there are a variety of knowledge levels and backgrounds
within each classroom, a teacher needs to meet each individual level and
background. This can be accomplished by working one on one, learning to be
more multiculturally minded, and providing children with a variety of hands-
on experiences. As a teacher, one goal of mine is to respect and teach each
child to my best ability. In summary, as a responsible, well-rounded
individual, I feel I can give each child a chance to grow both mentally and
physically, to challenge them, and to meet their educational needs.
Being in a religious environment like St. John the Baptist Catholic
School is an added bonus. I promise to do my best to Model Christian-like
behavior, share in the Word of our Lord, allow for us to pray together,
attend Mass, and guide the students along in their Catholic faith. Learning
to follow in Christ's footsteps should help the students to become better
Christians ready to serve the world in Christ's name.
