My name is Mrs. Kaye Michaels. I have enjoyed teaching 3rd, 2nd,
and 1st Grade here for the last thirteen years. This is my
fourth year of teaching Third Grade at St. Roman's. I also
taught 3rd/4th Grade while working for MPS (Milwaukee Public Schools)
for 8 years, before becoming a full-time "stay-at-home mom."
I am a proud University of Wisconsin - Madison alumni
(GO BADGERS!) with a B.S. degree in Elementary Education.
I have continued to take graduate education courses at
Marquette University, UWM, Cardinal Stritch University,
Viterbo, and McPherson College.
My husband Paul is a City of Milwaukee Firefighter. My sons,
Scott & Ryan, are both St. Roman and Marquette University
High School graduates. Scott is a Paramedic/Firefighter
for the City of Milwaukee. Ryan is a sophomore at Marquette
University majoring in pre-law. He was selected to attend
MU's Les Aspin School of Government in Washington D.C. for
the second semester, and is working for Congressman Paul Ryan
at the U.S. Capitol.
My family loves sports! We have fun backing our Wisconsin
teams - and are loyal Packers, Badgers, Brewers, Marquette U,
and MUHS Hilltoppers fans. We also like to travel together.
Boston, New York City, Washington D.C., San Francisco, Mount
Rushmore, and DisneyWorld are vacation favorites.
As a teacher and former parent, I KNOW St. Roman Parish School
is a very special to learn and grow!!
