Welcome to first grade. My name is Judy Kozup and I am the first grade
teacher here at St. Roman Parish School. I've been part of the St. Roman
Parish School Family for the past 31 years. I've had the privilege of
teaching first, second, third, fourth, fifth, and sixth grade but my heart
feels most at home in the first grade. I feel like St. Roman is my second
home.
I am a graduate of Mount Mary College here in Milwaukee. I received a
Bachelor of Arts in Education in 1973. I continue to be a life long learner
by attending classes at local colleges to keep myself updated on current
teaching methods and strategies. I have my Advanced Certification in
Religious Education Clock Hours from the Archdiocese of Milwaukee. I
continually attend workshops and classes to maintain this certification.
I am an active member at my home parish Prince of Peace/Principe de Paz. I
am a Eucharistic Minister, Reader, and current Parish Council Secretary.
When I am not busy at school or church I enjoy taking long walks with my dog
Bailey, reading, quilting, travel, teddy bears, and going to the movies.
May you always have Love to Share,
Health to Spare and Friends that Care
In This Classroom
We believe in facing each day with our hearts open to the love of Jesus and
our minds open to knowledge.
We believe that learning is a life long adventure.
We believe in the freedom to wonder, to ask, to explore, to imagine, to
create.
We believe that success means doing our best, being our best, and feeling
proud of our effort.
We believe that every one of us has special talents, and that the talents of
each of us help all of us.
We believe in ourselves, in each other, in this classroom family.
