November has just flown by! Many
things have happened during the month of November starting with the fact that
our school has just received the official letter announcing that our school
continues to be fully accredited. We were visited by a nine member team from
the Archdiocese. They spent a day and a half interviewing teachers, students,
and parents and examining ten (or more) binders of evidence, plus numerous
files only to confirm what we already knew: St. Roman is a great school!
Our 5th grade students have gotten to
use the new laptops to create different elements for their alligator projects.
They also learned to use the create-a-graph web site to construction graphs
for their final reports.
The first quarter has ended and I
enjoyed the student-led conferences. It was nice to see the students with
their parents.
We ended the month with our
Thanksgiving mass. Our school again demonstrated their care and concern for
our community by bringing in cans of food for the St. Roman food pantry.
