We are presently studying about our fabulous 50 states. Each student
will be bringing home their state report which will be due on Monday, January
25th. The report consists of a poster which is double-sided. Students are
to research their state, fill in all information accurately, and be able to
give an oral presentation of their findings.
After Christmas break we will be creating a photo essay of a special
event in our lives. By January 4th students are to bring in 5 photos of a
particular event important to them.
In January we will begin studying about the Stations of the Cross. Our
fourth grade class will present The Living Stations of the Cross at 2
performances on March 26th. This is a 19 act play with about a dozen songs
which has been traditionally performed by the fourth graders over the past
20+ years. Your help and encouragement in memorizing parts is greatly
appreciated. More information will follow in January.
