| 1. With your team, visit The Leonardo Museum in Vinci. (See Links page)
Review all of the inventions on each floor of the museum. Choose two to
research further as to its use then and now.
2. Choose one of the five Italian artists to research.(See Links page for
resources).
Michelangelo
Leonardo da Vinci
Raphael
Botticelli
Fra Angelico
3. Use a graphic organizer to gather information about the life of your
chosen artist, his background, and major works (accomplishments).
Include who his patron was.
4. Pictures of major works may be included in your report, but remember,
you must save these to a disc, not the school's server.
5. You will have two end products. An individual written report on your
artist of choice and a group PowerPoint presentation on the inventions.
The written report will be assessed using the 7 Gold Writing Rubric. The
PowerPoint presentation will be assessed with the PowerPoint Rubric.
6. Your individual artist report must include the following aspect. Your
conclusion should include your personal reflection on the artist's life.
Could you have accomplished as much under those circumstances? If you
could travel back in time to meet and talk to the artist what would you
ask him?
