About The Teacher

My name is Mrs. Mary Fenske. I live on a hog farm with my husband Mike, 
Mitchell(20), Marcus(18), Michael(16), and Madison(14). This fall Mitchell 
will be attending Western Technical College, Marcus will be attending 
Southwest Technical College, Michael and Madison will be 
attending Westosha Central High School.  Throughout the year your child will 
hear stories about activities taking place on our farm or in my childrens' 
schools.
    I knew at a very young age that I was going to be a teacher someday.  
This will be my 27th year of teaching second grade. I graduated from the 
University of Wisconsin Parkside(BA) in 1984 and from Carthage College(MA) in 
1990.  I keep current with changes taking place in education by going back to 
school almost every year enrolling in either a workshop or a class that 
covers an important topic in regards to education. 
    I have found throughout my 27 years of teaching that parental 
involvement is a key element in your child’s education.  I believe your 
child will receive the best education possible when you and I work together 
as a team. 
     I am looking forward to working with you and your child this year.   I’m 
sure that this school year will prove to be very successful and productive 
for your child. I will work hard to make your child's second grade year an 
enjoyable, memorable, and educational experience
