I am the father of an twelve-year-old daughter, Kirsten. My love for her
and the excitement of watching her develop created the desire to pursue
becoming a teacher of young children. A most wonderful thrill for me is to
read with and to children.
I look forward to providing the children in the class varied opportunities
to learn. The children will have the opportunity to use their senses to
discover new worlds. I intend to read to the class daily with interesting
books from a variety of genres.
