What do students need to bring to class?

Students are asked to bring their soprano recorders to class. Their folders 
are kept in the music room in the crate which has the name of their homeroom 
teacher on it.

Do students receive a grade in music?

4th and 5th graders receive an overall number grade based on achievement 
(4,3,2,1), an effort grade and a behavior grade twice per year. Students in 
these grades receive marks on the report card after the 1st and 3rd 
trimesters.
