Instruments of the Percussion Family include ? ? ? ?
The percussion family is the largest and most diverse group of instruments
in the orchestra. It includes anything that you strike, shake or scrape to
make a musical sound. There are also other ways of classifying percussion
instruments. As you discover some members of the percussion family, try
grouping them in more than one way.
These sites will help you learn about the percussion family. You'll learn
the instrument names and even be able to listen to them.
Remember your tasks:
1. Name the instruments. Please group them in at least 2 different ways.
2. List at least 2 similarities and 2 differences among the percussion
instruments.

library will have books AND recordings that you can check out. Of course,
once you decide what your favorite percussion instrument is, you can always

course!
