Process

Step 1: Each member of the group will use the links listed below to refresh
your background knowledge about fractions.  

Step 2: Choose roles in your group to decide who will focus on each topic
area.  Remember, you must become an expert on your topic in order to explain
it to your group and incorporate it into your project.


Step 3:  Go to your Role page and follow the directions to investigate your
topic through the websites on that page.  

Step 4:  Once each member has completed his/her role, work together to create
your project to teach the aliens about fractions.  Your project needs to be
ready to present to the aliens (aka, your classmates :) ) by Thursday, March 20.


This introduction to fractions uses circles and lines to teach parts of a whole.
