Welcome fellow geologists! You've been invited to this international internet
conference because we have an emergency that only the finest geologists can
help with. We have discovered in the most northern reaches of the world a box
full of unknown materials. There are close to a million different samples and
we need to get them identified. Are they earth materials or space materials?!
We've sent some of the samples to each of you. If each of us does our share we
can complete our mission to observe, describe, and compare these samples. You
will submit your data to our top team of experts who will use your notes to
determine the orgin of these samples.
