This task will require some really smart minds. Hopefully you will succeed with the very best kinds. We need to find out, what really can be. So do some research, it will be enlightening you see. Read about all three jobs, zoologist, herpetologist, and ornithologist. You need to be familiar with all the information to make an informed decision. Your final report needs to include information about how all three creatures are similar. Your final thought should let us know where you think the dentist has gone. Take a position and defend it using the information from your group. Access most of your information from the links in the WebQuest. You may use up to two printed texts. Use your prior knowledge of technology to locate, compile and effectively distribute your pertinent information. Don't forget to discuss information with your partners. This should allow you to expand your vocabulary base and include new words you will be find. You can help yourself with these words by using your context clues, word analysis, and various resources like the dictionary. Include three new words with your final report, tell what you thought it meant in the text, what the word actually means (dictionary might be helpful here) and use it in a new sentence. While compiling your final reports, remember to identify and summarize key points of your research, retell information, and provide factual information. Write a paragraph explaining your thoughts on the WebQuest. How did it compare to using search engines on the internet or print resources? The conventions of the English language should be evident. After writing your report, even though you think it is great, revise it, let your partners hear it, and provide constructive feedback to each other. Consider the feedback as you make revisions.
