Document Analysis and The Constitution

Introduction

It's time to learn about the United States Constitution!

Our founding fathers worked hard to make sure this document laid out the
groundwork for our national government. This WebQuest asks you to take a close
look at various documents to see how they correspond to our country's
Constitution.

The Constitution effects our daily lives. Have you ever stopped to wonder how
this is so? I bet you haven't! What does the light bulb have to do with the
Constitution? How about the board game "Monopoly?" Have you ever written a
letter to the President or one of your representatives as a school assignment?
All of these examples somehow involve the Constitution. Through this WebQuest
you will learn about these situations, and many more!

By completing this activity, you will see the extent to which this document,
written over two hundred years ago, helps our country run smoothly today.
