Document Analysis and The Constitution

Top Divider

Process

Here's how to get the job done...

I. First, we learned about the Constitution. We know that it is split up into
seven Articles, and that these Articles are further broken into Sections. Do
you understand this? GOOD! Do you remember what each Article discusses? If
not, take a look at your notes, silly!

II. Next, you will be split up into four groups. Each group will have a list
of tasks to complete. Don't wander into another group's task! Stick to yours!

III. Visit your group's task on the home page of this WebQuest. You will need
a piece of the Constitution, various primary documents, and analysis
worksheets that correspond to your documents.
As a group, analyze the documents. Use your analysis worksheets to guide
you through this process.
After you analyze the documents, take a look at your piece of the
Constitution. How do the documents fit into your section of the Constitution?

IV. Now, you will need to prepare the presentation. Remember - you will share
what you have learned with your classmates, so be through and informative!
Here's the question I want you to address in the presentation: How do
these documents relate to the part of the Constitution that you were to study?
Remember to include a short explanation about the documents, your piece
of the Constitution (like, Executive Branch, Legislative Branch, etc.) and
finally connect the two together (how do they relate?)!!
