Working in groups of four, you will create a mystery. Remembering what
we've learned about plot, your story will be divided into four parts:
Beginning/Exposition; Rising Action/Conflict; Climax; Ending/Resolution.
While the plot and characters will be created as a joint effort, each group
member will be solely responsible for writing one of the four parts.
Before taking pen in hand, you will need to learn more about the genre
of mystery. All of your research will be conducted online in class using
the links provided. Writing will also take place in class.
Can you fool your classmates? Will you take them down a winding road?
Will the scent of a red herring cause them to veer off the path? Will they
guess whodunit?
