Please check agenda each day for the daily assignments and/or long term assignments.
Wednesday folder will have graded papers, office memos, and notes from PTA. Papers will be stamped that need to be signed. Please do this and sign and return outside of folder on Thursday. .
I highly recommend nightly reading, which can be a comic book, newspaper, captions on TV or computer screen, or novel. Please try to encourage your child to read at least 15 minutes per evening.
Tests will usually be given on Thursday for reading and D.O.L. Spelling tests will be given on Friday. End of chapter tests in mathematics will be given when chapter is completed. Students will know about math at least 3 days in advance. Quizzes are given during the week to check on comprehension and the mastery of objectives.
You do NOT need to sign the agenda each evening unless your child is placed on a Homework Plan. This occurs after two consecutive days of not having all homework completed. I will need to sign the agenda each day and you will need to sign it each evening until further notice.
