4^th GRADE SUPPLY LIST

 This is a list of supplies your child will need for fourth grade.  Enjoy your summer and I will see you when school starts!!  You are in my prayers.

Attached is the Reading Summer List. Each fourth grader should read 2 books from this list over the summer, and complete the Book Report form. Both books cannot be from the same series.

PLEASE LABEL ALL SUPPLIES!!!!!!!

4 TENNIS BALLS

1 pencil box (5” x 8” maximum size)

             Items for pencil box:    

   hand held pencil sharpener   

            2    packages of  #2 pencils  (put 5 sharpen pencils in box)                              

            4     glue sticks                      (put 2 in pencil box)                                            

    2           pencil erasers                 (put 1 in pencil box)

(Leave extras at home to bring in later when needed)

            1 set colored pencils (10-24)

   1 set of thick markers

            1 box of 24 crayons  (no larger please)

            1 red ballpoint pen

            1 black ballpoint pen

            1 pair scissors   (Fiskar brand works best)  

            1 White out (no liquid)

              small stapler

   1 scotch tape

  1 ruler with inches and centimeters

2-3 packages notebook paper, wide rule (they will need more later)

512MB (at least) external mass storage device (jump drive)

FOLDERS :(portfolio)  (please purchase the plastic(POLY) folders with pockets)

AND LABEL WITH YOUR NAME!!!!

1    ORANGE folder (portfolio) labeled “PENMANSHIP”

    1     RED        folder (portfolio)  labeled “DAILY WORK”

    1     GREEN   folder (portfolio)  labeled “SCIENCE AND HISTORY”

    1     BLUE      folder (portfolio)   labeled “MATH” AND READING"

    1     YELLOW or PURPLE or your choice  folder labeled “PAPER”

1         one-inch 3-ring binder (with “tabs” to open the rings.  The binders without this don’t last) PLEASE BE SURE THAT THIS BINDER HAS POCKETS!!!

 (We will be using other 3-ring binders throughout the year, if you want to purchase these ahead of time.)

1 package divider tabs

OTHER ITEMS:  These do not have to be labeled.  We will be sharing these items.

 2  boxes of tissues

 1 container of Clorox wipes

1 box of band-aids

Mrs. Pollock needs the following for ART CLASS

1 LARGE GLUE STICK

1 SET OF BOLD POINT MARKERS

 If last name begins with A- I please bring:  1  roll paper towels   

 If last name begins with J-P please bring: 1 pkg.  wide-ruled paper

If last name begins with Q-W please bring: 1 box of Band-aids

YOU MAY BRING YOUR SCHOOL SUPPLIES TO THE CLASSROOM ON BACK TO SCHOOL NIGHT.

Please, no backpacks with wheels.  (hard to fit into the lockers)
