Monthly Book Projects

It is very important for students to get in the habit of reading, reading and reading.  They will have monthly reading assignments and will be doing a monthly book project.  Different genres and projects will be used each month.  Each month students will receive detailed instructions for their projects.

We will be doing 8 book report projects this year.  Students will read different literature genres for each book.  Below is an outline  explaining each project and approximate due date.

HISTORICAL FICTION BOOK REPORT

This month we will make posters to advertise your book.

DIRECTIONS: 

1.  Make a poster to advertise your book.

 2  Poster needs to be approx. 14"x16"  size or larger.  As long as it is larger than a 8 1/2 x 11.

3.   Include title, author, characters, setting,  and plot, AND ANYTHING ELSE YOU THINK WOULD WORK.

 4.  Your goal is to make a poster that will be eye catching and it will encourage others to read the book!!!!

5.  BE CREATIVE!!!!!!!

6.  WE WILL PLAN TO HANG THESE UP OUTSIDE OF OUR NEW LIBRARY!!!!!
