FBLA Future Business Leaders of America Advisor, Mrs. Giedinghagen The FBLA chapter for 2008-2009 consists of Josh Heatherly, Brent Quartermaine, Patrick Arnold, Brittany Scruggs, Jeremiah Allen, Edriuna Davis, Torry Adams, Desaray Barton, Allison Colburn, Tori Bates, Kaia Yaameen, Candice Short, Yaminah Gittens, ShaJuanna Spain, Haley Ryan, Dimitri Harris, Dennis Peppers, Caroline Japal, Victoria Allen, Jacynthia Arrington, Nathaniel Wickham, Aaron Ash, Maresha Sturdivant, Tiara Williams, Brittani Granger, Aliya Green, Undray Eldridge, Tonte Ene-Korubo, Ke'Vun Young. The FBLA officers for 2008-2009 are President: Brittani Granger, Vice President: Aaron Ash, Secretary: Maresha Sturdivant, Reporter: Allison Colburn, Treasurer: Aliya Green. We had our March of Dimes fund raiser in November of 2008. The 2007-2008 local chapter at Irondale Middle consisted of Chancellor Crawford, Shawn Temple, Nicole Jones, John Rego, Cheyanne Glass, Jamal Michell, Laraine Gatrey, Megan Shiflett, Angel Kitchens, Tyson McAllister, Caitlin Neilson, Hannah Thompson, Khahlil Williams, Jacynthia Arrington, Kiera Brennan, Dongala Mayfield. The FBLA officers for the year 2007-2008 were as follows: President: Laraine Gatrey; Vice President: Shawn Temple; Secretary: Angel Kitchens; Treasurer: Khahlil Williams/Kiera Brennan; Reporter: Jacynthia Arrington;Historian: Hannah Thompson; Parliamentarian: Megan Shiflett We had our FBLA Officer Installation and new member induction on November 27, 2007. The officers installed were President: Laraine Gatrey, Vice President: Shawn Temple, Secretary: Angel Kitchens, Treasurer: Khahlil Williams (not in attendance)/ Kiera Brennan, Reporter: Jacynthia Arrington (not in attendance), Historian: Hannah Thompson, Parliamentarian: Megan Shiflett. After each officer was installed, the President, Laraine Gatrey presided by explaining what FBLA meant and having the members say the FBLA pledge and the code of ethics with her. The ceremony was then closed. A number of parents were in attendance. Our 2007-2008 FBLA chapter raised over $500.00 for the March of Dimes and received a plaque for the $500 level for their hard work and effort in raising money for this worthy cause for premature babies.
