    Ancient China was developing along side those first civilizations in Mesopotamia and in India. Science tells us that the ancient relics of Chinese boats found on the coast of Oregon, may lead us to believe that China discovered North America long before the Norsemen (Vikings). 

    Chinese invented gun powder, the astrolabe (navigation tool), and many items that allowed men to explore, trade and aid in the development of civilizations. 

    The Chinese are still extremely disciplined, regimented and dedicated to their culture. Western culture has changed China very little in our exchanges in modern times. Is it the culture, the isolation of China as a Communist country or simply the disregard of western culture due to the lack of discipline. Western music, clothes, language and manner is not respected, only fun or interesting to many.
