we continued transforming equations, adding absolute value,
multiplication and division equations. Please remember that zero can
not be a divisor, and it has no reciprocal. Also, absolute value
equations allow two solutions.
Problem of The Day:
Mr. Ward is paid $9.50 per hour for 40 hours of work each week. For each hour over 40 hours, he is paid $14.25 per hour. His wages for a given week were $494. How many hours over 40 hours did Mr. Ward work that week?
