We are continuing our work with word problems. Remember to label the facts and the unknowns in order to write an equation.  We will be using everything that we have practiced, so be prepared for any kind of equation. Use drawings when shapes are involved. When you are finished solving the equation, go back and read the problem and give the necessary information, including units.
 
Problem of The Day:
 
The mean of three numbers is 70. When the smallest of the three numbers is replaced by 75, the mean is increased by five.  What was the number that was replaced by 75?
