We are continuing our study of polynomials this week.  We have begun factoring polynomials using distinct factoring patterns and grouping methods.  Please use the worksheets available in the classroom shelves for extra practice.

If you have not already memorized your squares, cubes, and 4th - 7th powers, you need to commit them to memory as soon as possible.

Problem of The Day: I am thinking of four consecutive integers.  The sum of the squares of the second and third is 61. Find the integers.

Today we learned to distinguish word problems that can be solved from word problems that can not be solved.  Remember the three reasons for no solution. Use charts and/or diagrams.

Portfolio Projects are due this Tuesday.

Our chapter 4 exam is this Wednesday.
