You can post any comments about hikes we've done as a group, or tell us about a hike you did, or make suggestions about future hikes. You can post a comment by clicking on the "Add Entry", or by clicking "comment". You won't see your post right away, though. It gets sent to me (the "Administrator") in an email and I have to approve it. Feel free to add photos from our hikes.
We had our first club meeting yesterday, and we will meet EVERY THURSDAY AT LUNCH IN ROOM E-3. Mr. Donnell has agreed to help out on a hike whenever he can. Thanks Mr. Donnell!
Here are some points from the meeting 9/17.
+If you have a design idea for the SM Hiking Club t-shirts, let me know either in person or on this blog. We want to get going on those.
+Katie Shara stepped up and volunteered to keep track of the things we cover at the meetings and to help out with scheduling hikes. Way to go Katie, and congrats for being chosen as one of this year's Homecoming Princesses!
+It's important to come to meetings and stay in touch with the club members because there is always a certain amount of paperwork necessary for each hike, since they are official School Functions. You don't want to be left behind because of paperwork.
+Andrew Doss has an email list of everyone who signed up on club day, and he will try to keep everyone informed that way. If you didn't give Andrew an email address that day, find him and just do it!
+Because of Homecoming and SAT dates in October, our first hike is most likely to be October 17.
