  I'm researching about the merits of the legalization of prostitution. My argument is that the government shouldn't intrude on the prostitutes' individual rights to prostitute themselves.

  My thesis is: Although terrorism is a threat to National Security, the government should be restricted from abusing their access to technological communications systems, which by accessing, invades the privacy of the individuals. So in short, I am arguing that the government is breaking agreements (laws and acts) and violating our right to privacy by tapping into our technology based communications systems without liable reasoning or proper procedure. Thus, moving away from democracy and moving towards a totalitarian state (obviously not over night, but in time, if we allow the government to abuse their power, it could occur). Now my argument qualifies that it is important to make sure the Nation is secure, but refutes it by arguing that in order to do so, it is not necessary to take away the right to privacy...a freedom...which is protected by the 4th amendment.   My paper concerns whether or not the United States should have a universal healthcare system. Seeming as so many developed nations already have such successful government programs, the US should not be any different. Brianna

  My topic is Doctor Assisted Suicide. Basically, I'm arguing for the right to kill yourself with a prescription with that purpose in mind.
