One of my favorite books is The Three Musketeers by Alexandre Dumas. I think that others should read this book because it helps you understand the past. The book begins with buoyancy and boldness but ends sullenness and doubt. It captured my attention and I couldn't put it down.

Choosing just one book is extremely difficult, because i have read many fantastic books. One of my absolute favorites is City of the Beasts by: Isabel Allende. It is my favorite adventure book becuase it takes me to this magical place deep inside the Amazon Rain Forest, behind secret water falls, and into a hidden ancient kingdom. The main charcter Alex goes on a trip with his grandmother, Kate. Someone on the expedition is not trustworthy and Alex and his friend Nadia have to discover who it is. Their journey takes an unsuspecting turn when they get left behind and are taken to a camp by a tribe of elusive natives called the people of the mist. Nadia and Alex learn the secrets of these indians and get to go to another world where there are untold riches. The city of gold, El Dorado, but are stunned to find that it is not gold at all. They do find priceless gems and other wonders. Alex hopes to sell his findings to get his mother treatment for her cancer.

As I read series more than single books, one of my favorite series is “Brides of Gallatin Country” by Tracie Peterson. I prefer this series because it gives the reader an insight on what life was like when the country was first settled. Starting with their father’s death, the author takes you through the lives of three sisters and the hardships, both physically and mentally, they faced. I believe others should read this series because it gives lessons on staying strong, knowing your heart, and achieving goals.

The best book I ever read was Harry Potter and The Deathly Hollows by: J.K Rowling. Not only is it unpredictable, making you turn every page, but it has a mixture of themes. It has action, with wizard duels, mystery, with wizards trying to find and destroy Lord Voldemort, and drama, between Ron and Hermiony. I believe this book attracts all readers and is a great quinch to anyones thirst in reading.

my favorite book is part of a searies called Percy Jackson & the olympians and out of all of them my favorite would be the Titan's curse. by Rick Riordan It is an adventuras tail about several prophasies that Percy has to face as he gets closer to his 16'th birthday to fulfill the greatest of all the prophasies.

I really like the book Pride & Prejudice by Jane Austen. At first when I read it, I couldn't really understand it because it was written in a different time(1800s). But then I read it again and I could read it much faster. I love the story because it's timeless. Two people, opposite in character, learn to like each other because they start to look beyond first impressions. Pride & Prejudice is an all-around great book to pull off the shelf when there's no other story that interests you. It's a happy tale. Of course with the traditional sort of "happily ever after." :)

It's pretty dificult to pick a favorite book. I've read so many books and I like them for diferent reasons. The book that I've read the most is called Blind Beauty by K.M. Peyton. Its about a girl named Tessa. When she was young she lived on a horse farm with her mother and father. When her mother moved away from her father and remarried to a rich horse owner Tessa became bitter and angry. She was forced to work at a stable that bred racing horses. When an ugly gangly horse arrived and was assigned to her, she found out that it had a close connection to her past. This changed her mind set. Soon after that, the events take an unexpected turn and go a way that you would never expect.

My favorite book has to be The Giver by Lois Cowles. It was interesting from the very get-go to me. It was about a community committed to sameness and perfection. Anyone who set that balance off was 'released'. The main character realizes what a bad way it is to live and constructs a plan to change it. It was a wild, emotional, well-written book, and I could read it over and over again. I definitly recommend it to everyone.

My favorite book would have to be "A Walk To Remember" by Nicholas Sparks. This book would have to be one of me favorites, because it has such a great storyline and keeps a reader turning and turning pages. It all starts with a girl named Jamie who no one seems to like, beause she is the Reverands daughter and always seems to be helping someone. Most of the other kids called her the "Virgin Mary" because she always helped out and most of the time wore skirts or dresses and always carried her Bible everywhere she went. Eventually she ends up asking a certain boy Landon to help out in the christmas play he says yes and they get to know each other. Throughout many rehersals and spending time with Jamie, Landon eventually falls in love with her. After months of dating Jamie tells Landon that she has leukemia and Landon says he would like to marry her. Jamie agrees but a few months later dies. This book is really touching and heart warming, I think many more should read this book.

One of my favorite books is the Twilight Series. The author of the book in which is, Stephanie Meyer, describes the story in a highly decsriptive way. Her writing is so descriptive that it is like painting a picture inside your head or watching a movie. That is the reason why I'm so fond of her books. In addition, she uses metaphors and similes to tell the story better for young adults.

One of my favorite books is Lord of the Rings (which was originally one book and not a trilogy). The author, J. R. R. Tolkien, uses a unique language and even invented two entire languages just for the book. Tolkien is descriptive, deep, and even humorous at times. The characters each have their own personalities so you can feel you actually know them. Lord of the Rings is adventurous, bold, and all sorts of other things, and I don't see why anyone wouldn't read it, unless it was too big of a book.

I would have to say that my favortie book is Where the Red Fern Grows, by Wilson Rawls, because its a story about a boy, named Billy and the one thing that tops every boy's list to get: a dog. Well he gets 2. Billy names the boy dog Old Dan, and the girl Little Ann. He trains them to hunt for racoons in the Ozark Mnts, and goes on to enter in a cometition for hunting these 'coons'. And in the end, his dogs die, and once he burys them by a tree where he lived before moving away, a beautiful Red Fern grows there. Its an overall amazing story!

I am an EXTREME reader. Back in Elementary school they called me "The Bookworm" and when I was only in 2nd grade I read at a collage level. The world is an ever changing place and that makes it hard for me to pick a favorite. I LOVE the Harry Potter series and if I had to pick just one of those as my favorite it would be harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. This series along with the Inheritance Cycle, Eragon, Eldest, Brisingr, and a fourth book, written by Christopher Paolini is also a fantastic series. In all of the books you can actually feel the strife and saddness that Eragon feels and you can't help but cry.

There are so many great books that I have read, but one that made my eyes glue onto the page would probaby be Maximum Ride by James Patterson because it is very adventerous and kept me reading until I couldn't stop. It's about six kids who were experimented and they try to find out if they were clones or abducted. Many surprising events happen and they are chased by the "School" while searching for answers. I definitely recommend this book.

To be completely honest, I think that Farenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury is my favorite book. I love the way that he is so descriptive in all of his writing. It really makes me want to go outside and stop using my cell phone for good. This book makes me be more appreciative of the things that God has gave me, and not the things that money can buy.

My favorite book is "November Blues". I don't really read that often because it;s hard to find a book that interest me. This book though kept me reading, I couldn't put it down. It was really easy to understand the languege that the author used made you see a movie inside your head. Also the storyline was so realistic, the things that happened happen right now in this century.

My favorite book is "Novembeer Blues".I don't really read books that often because it's hard to find a book that intrest me, but this book made me keep reading, I couldn't put it down it was so good. The languege that the author used is so similar to the languege that we use. The way she wrote the story it just automatically made you picture what was going on like a movie.

One of my favorite books is the Twilight Series. Stephanie Meyer, the author, rights the books in so much detail you feel like Edward or Bella can be standing right next to you. When I read the first of the Twilight Series, when the movie wasn't out, I could make a picture of all the characters inside my head and that's the kind of books I like to read. Once i picked up that book I couldn't stop reading it, which is very unusual because I'm not big on reading. That just shows how this book and the emotions the characters are feeling can make you feel. She rights the books in a way that makes you feel like you are there with them.

Without a doubt,my favorite book is The Hunger Games. The writing is vivid, the characters are very relatable, and the story is fascinating. I feel it's hard for me to reread books; but, with the Hunger Games I flipped it back over and read it twice more. Suzzane Collins has a wonderful talent and I can't wait to read more of her books.

One of my favorite books is North by Night by Katherine Ayres. It’s a book based on the Underground Railroad that tells a story of a young girl whose family helps to hide slaves on their journey to Canada. This book was very interesting to read and it gave me a better understanding of the system of the Underground Railroad.

One of my favorite books of all time, is 'The DaVinci Code' by Dan Brown. The book has a lot of suspense, and also includes a lot of historically accurate information about a lot of topics people dont usually know a lot about. And the way the author describes all the events that took place thousands of years ago is very descriptive and easy to understand. Others should read 'The DaVinci Code' because it brings up a lot of topics that should be discussed and thought about more. 'The DaVinci Code' is a dyanmic book that brings up many topics that deserve more public attention.

One of my favorite books is Fahrenheit 451 and Animal Farm. Animal Farm, this novel portray corrupt leadership as the flaw in revolution and it also shows how potential ignorance and indifference to problems within a revolution could allow horrors to happen if smooth transition to a people's government isn't satisfied. Fahrenheit 451, it's basically about censorship.I believe others should read this book because it is very interesting and relaxing.

I have read many books so it was difficult to choose but when looking through my choices, i found The Blue Girl by Charles de Lint. The story is of a girl, Imogene, who tries to fit in to her new school and stay out of trouble. Sadly her punk-rock/thrift store look was unexpected at her new school and therefore stood out causing people to pick on her and try to push her bottons. Trouble found her in the forms of the regular jock bullies, faries, and her old imaginary friend Pelly. There is also a ghost named Adrian. He has a crush on Imogene and there is comedy in how he has this weird idea about them getting together. Pelly has a strange new haunting new attitude about him and his new friends aren't helping Imogene get any sleep at night. I enjoy this book because it taught me how to stand up for myself and style, how to live my life better, and how to react if a magical creature attacks, starts haunting, or has a weird crush on me. :)

I've read so many great books, it's hard for me to single one out, but if I had to choose a favorite book it would be 'Don't Die my Love' by Lurlene McDaniel. This story puts you in the shoes of a teenager named Julie whose longtime boyfriend (Luke) is diagnosed with cancer. In this book you are taken on an emotional rollercoster as Julie and Luke face some tough times filled with both happiness and tragedy. This book has a great storyline and I recommend it to anyone in the mood for a sad romantic story.

One of my favorite books is The Luckiest Girl by Beverly Cleary. It is about a sixteen year old girl who wants to change her usual, everyday routine, and accepts an invitation to spend her junior year of high school with family friends in California. There she is amazed at the scenery of the small town, in which people who have lived there forever are content with. She also falls for San Sebastian Union High's cute basketball star, but later figures out that the perfect guy for her was already there. Others should read this book because teen girls can relate to this story of wanting to change and/or be different, and find the perfect guy for them.

One of my favorite books (Farenheit 451 is my second favorite, besides this one) is called "Reincarnation" by Suzanne Weyn. It is a love story, in an odd, yet appealing way. I myself belive in reincarnation, so this book really caught my attention and sucked me in, and I couldn't set it down for nearly three days! It's a bit young for me, and a tad cheesy, but I find the message and the everlasting, neverending love an insationable attraction. I could read it again and again.

My top favorite books would have to be the work of Ellen Hopkins, more specifically the Crank series. There are four books that put you in the shoes of a teenager and you get a front row seat to their life story. Each book is very powerful and deals with an emotionally sensitive topic. For instance, Crank deals with a girl who gets addicted to the deadly drug and her transformation afterwards. Burned is a touching emotional story of a young girl who is abused and escapes her Mormon home to fall in love and lose it almost immediately. Impulse is told from three different teens that are recovering from addiction, and suicide attempts. The books are written like poetry, are very powerful, and will take you on a unique ride that you’ll never forget.

I've read so many great books but The Host by Stephenie Meyer is one of the best and one of my favorites. This story is about a world where humans are just hosts for this type of 'alien' called a soul. Most hosts’ minds usually go away but when one soul's host lingers it takes her far from her own kind. She soon learns about things she never knew and is open to a new world full of secrecy. I recomend this book because it's bursting with excitement and suspense. It shows how love can conquer hate and how sometimes your family is a higher priority than your own life. This book truly takes you on a journey.

Alright, after thinking long and hard, I've come to a decision-I have no all time favorite book. Although, I do have book(s) that make the cut. First, The Wave. It's an incredible true story and will, without a doubt, silence anyone that the Holocaust can never happen again and we should throw caution to the wind. It also explains the young german soldiers, and delves into the fact that they were NOT evil, merely ignorant. I refuse to reveal anymore, but I strongly suggest you stop whatever you're doing and research this book immediately. Next up, The Giver series. Starting with The Giver, with Gathering Blue as the sequel, and Messenger the last in the series. You must read them all to understand the connections the different characters have and their true purposes in the end. These books take you to a twisted and extremist version of our world, where we are not in control, bu the controlled, and I still can't figure out whether some of the supernatural occurences in the book(hint, the part where the forest comes alive and takes on a sinister task) are examples of symbolism(the characters having to overcome a great task) or if they really are occuring...or both. I think it's both. And, last comes The Little Prince. It's a timeless story, enchanting, and teaches us we are never old enought o stop believing. It gives a comical insight into the mind of a child, and just how precious that young mind is. I don't know if this counts or not, but, I'm also taking on 100 Years Of Solitude by Gabriel García Márquez. I haven't finished, but so far, it's intruiging. I can't set it down. The same with Labyrinths, by Jorge Luis Borges. Labyrinths is actually a collection of his works, as Borges never actually wrote a novel, but it messes with your views in a sickly manner, yet... it's oddly entertaining. I recomend it for the people who love twists and turns, exactly like real labyrinths.

From the books I have read so far, Angels and Demons, written by Dan Brown, is my favorite one. The book is basically about a mad chase throughout Vatican City, because a phone call from an mysterious man tells them that a bomb has been planted somewhere inside the Vatican, and will explode in 24 hours. So, the main character Robert Langdon and an Italian scientist named Vittoria Vetra venture out on a wild goose chase, trying to save the Vatican from a fiery death. It's filled with suspense from start to finish, and will keep one interested throughout the adventure.

I dont really have a favorite book but if I had to choose one it would be Point Blanc by Anthony Horowitz. I really enjoyed reading all of his books because he makes them very suspencefull and mysterious. Point Blanc is about a kid who is a spy in MI6 and investigates a criminal. Along the way he becomes very close to being caught and killed. The book is overall very good even though it is not very challenging to read.

One of my favorite books is Identical by Ellen Hopkins. The author writes about serious topics such as bulimia, sexual abuse, drugs, underage drinking, unprotected teen sex, depression, lies, the Holocaust, and politics. It goes into the effects of all of these and disects them to more easily understand. It is also written in the form of lots and lots of poems written by two identical twins. It really teaches you alot about the nasty sides of all of these and is really really interesting as well. It's pretty dark, which is refreshing compared to all the fluff books out there, haha. I really enjoyed this and many other books written by Ellen Hopkins.

One of my favorite books is Brisngr by Christopher Paolini. It is about a guy named Eragon and his dragon Saphira and their quest to save the last dragon egg and defeat the evil tyrant who is power crazy and will destroy anything that stops him from getting more. It is very exiting and is a great read. I would recommend this book to anybody.

I believe my favorite book would have to be Lord of the Flies by William Golding. It is an old book and I had just recently read it this past year for a class assignment, but I think it is a very great and detailed read that explains a lot about human nature and what humans can turn into when faced with certain obstacles in their path. Some of them were savages and even killers in that book. And also some could overcome that urge to hunt things and find other means of doing what they needed to do. Some stayed calm, while others seemed to go mad. They even had there own chant they sang when hunting for food (boar) "Kill the pig, Cut her throat, Spill her blood." it was greatly disturbing, yet constructive on real life characteristics.

One of my favorite books is by Scott Westerfeld called Uglies. Uglies is a book about a future where you are "Ugly" until your 16th birthday when you undergo an operation that makes you "pretty". All is well until Tally's new friend Shay isn't sure that she wants to be pretty. I recommend this book to anybody who wants a captivating book.

Though I suppose it would be more likely aimed at a younger audience (and I may be risking any reputation I may have in a Pre-AP English class), the most enjoyable book I've read has been "The Little Prince" by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. It chronicles the story of a young prince from a faraway asteriod in search of the meaning of life. Along the way he stumbles across a young pilot who has suffered a crash and is stranded in the Saharan desert far from civilization. While rather mild as far as wording is concerned, the simplicity of this novel leaves room for much complexity and stunning observations on some of life's clearest occurances. (Not to mention this book has been cited as a fantastic learning material for students of the French language.)

My favorite book would have to be The Mists of Avalon by Marian Zimmer Bradley. Now the author herself is amazing, and I would gladly read many of her books over again, but The Mists of Avalon is something else. While reading this book I thought back to the many legends that I had heard. The story takes you through the legend of Arthur, but instead of having his prospective, it shows the story through the eyes of his sister, the reknown Morgaine, alos known as Morgan Le Fey. While reading this book, I found myself gasping at unexpected events and I even cried when a character died. It truly takes you on an emotional roller coaster, but better yet, it opened up my eyes to different paths and forced me to think deeper down past what I had been taught. Religion plays a big part in this story, and if you know the legend of Arthur, the real legend, then it would be obvious that a thousand page book about it would have more than a few references to religion. But despite the fact that this book is emotional, religious, and at times bias, I love it and it has literally changed my life. I would recommend it to anyone who loves to read, who loves to open up their minds, and who loves to learn.

My favorite book is A Million Little Pieces by James Frey. This book could have probably dropped the graphic language and was not a totally honest biography.
This book takes the reader through the entire experience of six weeks in an addiction clinic.
James Frey was a rock cocaine addict and an alcoholic.
I love this book because James was aware that he was the cause of all his addictions and that no one could help him heal other than himself.
I have a lot of hidden addictions in my family and I can appreciate the graphic experiance that this man went through.

One of my favorite books would have to be The Color Purple. When you first start reading the novel it is very hard to understand the way they talk. This book teaches so many lessons about life and for you to be thankful no matter what. It really is just a wonderful book that anybody can read.

My favorite book would have to be Identical by Ellen Hopkins. It deals with lots of issues in the teenage world & what some people have to deal with: drugs, teen sex, underage drinking, bulimia, sexual abuse, problems with parents, politics, Identity crisis, love problems, cheating, mean girls and all. It also goes a tad bit into the Holocaust. This book shows the real sides to all these issues and hits them on the head in a story-telling way. I really enjoy learning about these twin girls' struggles and how the overcome them. Plus, it's super interesting to read and is written in short prose written in amusing patterns on each page.

I have a few favorite books that I have read. The Twilight series by Stephanie Meyer were books that really captivated my attention. I'm really into fantasy and the subject of vampires, werewolves, and their relationships. These books have caught the attention of friends of mine who usually never read. I found them hard to put down.

I am currently reading "The Crowning Glory of Calla Lily Ponder" by Rebecca Wells, the author of "The Divine Secrets of the YA-YA Sisterhood." It's a southern tale of a girl's life from childhood to adulthood, and all the adventures inbetween. I recommend this book for those who like coming of age and family relationship stories.

I would have to say that my all time favorite book is 13 Reasons Why by Jay Asher. This is so because it acutally tells readers what goes on teenage lives. And tells the story of a girl that is driven to comitting suicide by 13 specific people and her reasons why all recoreded as one specific tape sent to all 13 people ,and the story goes on.

One of my favorite books of all time is Hatchet by Gary Paulsen. The novel is about how a New York City boy, about 13 years old that takes granted of daily advantages of urban life, reshape himself into a man of nature, becoming more self-sufficient and intelligent about his surrounding natural environment. He acheives that by being stranded or lost in the canadian woods for months surviving with only, at first, his hatchet. As time passes by he learns useful things to help him survive the harsh and curel wilderness, and his love and respect for nature grows more in time. I think others should read this book because its exciting, adventurous, and interesting. Its pulls you in and makes you read it nonstop and when you do stop, you cant stop wondering what happens next. Thats how great Gary Paulsen is at writing novels.

My favorite book would have to be Lord of the Flies. The way the author set the book up is amazing because the book is very in depth. Lord of the Flies made me think in different ways because the book takes you on a journey to an abandonded island with just boys living on it.

It is easy to say that my favorite book is Number the Stars by Lois Lowry. This book made me have a roller coaster of emotions and the message that the book gives had an impact on me. The emotions that the book gave me was fear, sadness, aggervation, etc. The message this book gives is courtesy and sacrifice. Annemarie's parents' show courtesy by bringing in Ellen as a daughter than as a friend, and how they sacrifice thier lives to help Ellen leave the country. I think everyone should read this book because you'll experience the past in someone else's footstep.

One of my favorite books is a Land Remembered because it showed the changing of Florida through one families eyes. I think others should read it because it was funny and filled with suspense. It was also the only book that i ever cried at the end of.

My favorite book is To Kill A Mockingbird. I love this book because it shows how damaging the past was to some african americans. it also taught me that no matter what the person looks like, talks like, or acts like, the person is just the same as any other.

One of my favorite books is, Bliss by Lauren Myracle. This book takes place during the 60's shortly after the brutal Charles Manson killings. The book is well written with diary entries by Sandy between almost every chapter and quotes from President Nixion, The Andy Griffith Show, and Charles Manson. Bliss is about about a teenager who has come from a commune with her "hippie parents" to live with her grandmother. Bliss is enrolled in Crestview Academy, where she hopes to make friends her own age. While at Crestview, Bliss begins hearing a "blood voice". Bliss is the only one who can hear the voice, because it is calling for her. Meanwhile she meets Sandy, who doesn't have any friends and who is rather nice. But as the story progresses Sandy turns for the worst by trying to kill Bliss to serve as a sacrifice for Sandy's master the "blood voice". This story is a dark and winding tale, causing you to never want to put it down.

One of my favorite books would have to be Twilight by Stephenie Meyer. The reason I enjoy this book so much is that every time I read it I notice something different every time. I don't love this book because of the movie, in fact, the book is a million times better. I didn't like the fact that they chose how the characters looked, I had my own image, which was another reason why it's my favorite book. I think that others should read it because it'll give you imagination, and it'll make you more open minded. You can't judge a book by its cover.

I don't really have a favorite book, but if I had to choose, my favorite books would be the Uglies series by Scott Westerfeld. This series takes place in a futuristic America. When a person turns the age of sixteen, they go through a life changing surgery, making them "beautiful." Until then, they are considered "Uglies." What the people of this city don't realize is that when they go through this surgery, they are given a medicine to make them "happy" all the time. Tally, the heroine of these series always wanted to be a pretty person, but she meets a friend who shows her the truth. The whole series takes you through Tallie's adventures fighting the procedure and trying to find a cure for her city. I really like this series because of the nonstop adventure the author takes you through.

I don’t read as much as I should but my favorite book that I can remember is Bulfinch’s Mythology. It is a collection of tales about the legends and myths of ancient Greece. For me it was very interesting and entertaining to read those stories and learn what people really thought was true in the past. The religious beliefs they had at the time are very curious to me and I really enjoyed learning about them by reading this book that was both fun and challenging to read. I think others should read this book to get and idea of how people thought the world was created, and what they thought controlled it long ago.

In my opinion the book Deltora is the best book in the world. Its a series of eight short books of about 130 pages. This book will keep you on your toes throughout the twisted adventure of Lief, Barta, and Jasmine to save the great kingdom of Deltora. As they walk through treacherous woods and over collapsing bridges you never know what is going to happen next. Those are only some of the details of the amazing book Deltora.

My favorite book is Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. I loved the whole series. I was surprised that the books were not just about magic and fighting evil they were about friendship and love. I enjoyed seeing all the characters mature and change. I also liked seeing how the mood changes beginning of the book to the end. I am constantly rereading this book.

My favorite book is The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. It's set in the future, and the main character, Katniss, lives in a country completely controlled by the government. Annually, "The Hunger Games" are held, which requires 24 people chosen at random to fight to the death, shown on live television. The one winner gets fame and fortune, although everyone knows the Games are horrible, and the government created them just to show that the citizens are powerless. Katniss steps in for her sister and is in The Hunger Games. She has to go completely against everything she believes in, and try to fight off 23 other people just to save her own life, although she questions if it's the right thing to do. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes a very exciting book that makes you think and appreciate everything you have.

I've read a number of books, but none of them have met my heart in such a way as The Traveler's Gift by Andy Andrews. The story begins with a man named David Ponder; a man with no job and a sick daughter in need of an unaffordable treatment. As he reaches the end of his rope, he drives as fast as he can down a highway, yelling "why me?" at the top of his lungs. This scene ends in a crash, and the events that follow consist of him traveling through time and visiting seven people who shaped the world. Each of them give David advice and a paper with one of the seven things he needs to do to have a successful life. After traveling to the past, he then makes a final trip to the future, to see the amazing person he is to become. By the end of the book, he is no longer asking "why me?," but instead, "Why not me?" The lessons David Ponder learns on his journey throughout time have very practical application in every day life.

I dont't really have a favorite book but one of my favorite series is The Keys to the Kingdom. It is about a boy named Arthur who in the beginning of the series is a teenager with asthma. Through his adventures though, he grows stronger and gains many new friends while vanquishing evil. I am looking forward to reading the 7th and last book in the series.

I would have to say that my favorite book is the second in a series of 2 books (so far). The series is called The Cronus Chronicles. The second book in the series and, my favorite, is called The Siren Song. The first book in this series is called The Shadow Thieves. These are both amazing books. They are about a girl named Charlotte who finds out greek mthology is still real today. In the first book she goes down to the Underworld with her British cousin Zeke and comes into contact with Hades the god of the Underworld. In the second book Charlotte is grounded from being gone overnight (in the underworld) but, she can not tell her parents where she went. So they go on a cruise and she comes into contact with Poseidon and she must save everyone on that cruise from a deady sea monster. These books are amazing and very exciting. I really never wanted to put either of them down. Also they are great if you love to learn about greek mythology like I do. I highly recomend either of these books (if not both).

My favorite book would have to be A corner of the Universe by Ann M. Martin, the book is based on a 12 year-old girl who meets her uncle that she never knew about, the surprise is that everyone else knew about her uncle but never told her, her uncle's name is Adam, and she finds out that he had been living in a boardhouse for the mental ill, Adam had been born mentally retarded, but that didn't stop Adam and Hattie from having fun and doing things regular people could do,I have a 7 year-old cousin who is autistic and can not speak but he has so much life to live and he is learning at his own speed, so I can relate to tis book and the story it holds.

One of my all time favorites is "The City of Ember" by Jean DuPrau. This book takes you into a completely different world...underground. The city is over 200 years old and supplies were rapidly running out to manage the community. Along with that the city is literally falling apart. This leads to two teenagers attempting to find life above ground and save the city before it's too late. I would definately recommend this book to others because it's very different than most and is one of those books you can't put down.

I think that my favorite book would probably have to be Eragon, by Christopher Paolini. I think that it is well written, especially for a 15 year-old, and almost never gets boring.
Unlike the other books in the series, it was always moving forward; I almost lost interest in the other books at certain points.
It had a good plot and lots of action as well.

I'm always reading, so choosing a single favorite book is extremely hard. I can tell you though that one of my favorites is a book called The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. It was introduced to me by a teacher that had wished to read it as a class but never got around to it. We had already read the first chapter and I was hooked, so I went to the library and got myself a copy. This book, set in(as I see it)post-apocalyptic times, will have you thinking about the barbarianism humanity can come down to. It takes you on a journey with a character named Katniss, who you can't help but relate to. Her hard exterior, caused by a life of living under the horrific terms of the capitol, leaves you heartbroken and sympathetic. Starved, fatherless, and having to take care of her depressed mother and her sister, Katniss has developed a way to take care of herself but has also built up a wall that she lets no one break down. It's these qualities that may help her through the 74th Hunger Games, an annual "celebration" thought up by the capitol. The Hunger Games is made up of 24 teens, 2 from each of the 12 districts. It's name contains the word game but is nowhere near that. 24 teens are thrown into an arena to fight to the death, only one is allowed to make it out alive. This book shows a corrupt society where a slaughter show is treated as a celebration, but everyone knows that it's just a way the capitol shows the people that they are always in control. It's also a love story, Peeta is also forced into the games. Hints throughout the book show a developing relationship between Katniss and Peeta, but only one can make it out alive. They are only 2 of 22 other contestants all striving for the same goal, to live. I won't reveal anything else, but i strongly recommend this book. The reality of it is astonishing and thought provoking, the story breathtaking and horrific, it's no surprise Suzanne Collins is a New York Times Bestselling author. I can't wait for the sequel, Catching Fire, in this amazing trilogy.

I do not have a single favorite book, but the Twilight Saga is definitely number one on my list. Not only is the story magical and intriguing, the way that Stephanie Meyer wrote the series is amazing. The detail and descriptions of the characters and settings are very well done.

One of my favorite books would have to be "Impulse" by Ellen Hopkins. It deals with the real life scenarios of drugs, cutting, and attempted suicide, and really shows how scary all of these can be. I think others should read this book because it explains how badly you can mess up your life with one horrible decision.

My favorite book is Of Mice and Men. It was a very short book but it was dense with details. It was very interesting and normally I only read a few pages of a book every day, but this one wanted me to keep reading to the end. It was very good and the ending makes you think as well as feel sorry for some of the characters. I think others would find this book fascinating and I hope they will enjoy it as much as I did.

My favorite book would have to be "The Hunger Games" by Suzanne Collins. I could not put it down! A sequel just came out and I can't wait to read it. "The Hunger Games" shows how easily the government can take control of peoples lives and it is a very scary thought. It's easy to understand, but complicated at the same time. I would read it again in a heartbeat. The characters are well developed and very relateable. It didn't have any boring parts like most books. A perfect combination of action, humor, friendship, and suspense!

My favorite book is Gregor the Overlander by Suzanne Collins. In this book, a kid named Gregor and his little sister Boots fall through a grate in his apartment's laundry room into the Underland. There they find a large city of people, and huge creatures, such as cockroaches and bats, that have lived underground for hundreds of years. Gregor discovers that his dad disappeared here and sets off to find him. The Underlanders tell Gregor of a cryptic prophecy which involves him and his quest to find his dad. I would recommend this book because it is very entertaining and full of adventure.

My favorite book would have to be "Where the Red Fern Grows". It shows how a persons dedication to something can always be obtained if you work hard for it. Which is a lesson for everyone to learn because no matter what your dreams and goals are you should always work towards them.
