I was pleased to see so many students turn in their homework today. Many chose to do the entire math packet rather than spacing it out over the week. I asked those who did not complete the packet to take it back home to so that the work could be continued tonight. The other assignment is to revise and edit the "5 easy pieces" poem we began in class today. The exercise was a bit complicated so if your child has trouble, just have them bring it to class tomorrow for help from me.
Today we hosted a group of 3rd graders from Winnona Park. We had a wonderful time showing them around the school and making crafts. Visits from the other K-3 schools will occur this week but will not involve our class.
We have only a few more days until Field Day! Please send in a plain white t-shirt for your child to decorate for the big event by Thursday of this week.
