"The Summer I turned Pretty" is a story about a girl named Belly and her adventures at the summer house.  She has been going there every summer since she was little to  visit her mom's best friend and her two sons, Jeremiah and Conrad.  Belly looks forward to every summer as if it was the only fun part of the year.  Belly has always been friends with Jeremiah and Conrad, but sometimes she wishes it was more.  This summer might be the most exciting of all!
This book is filled with real life situations that you can easily relate to your life.  I highly recommend this book because it is fun to read and is filled with great characters and adventures.

Loser is a book by Jerry Spinelli that explains what it is like to be unpopular. It is about
a boy that does not fit in anywhere. He is clutzy, he laughs too much, and it is explains
what it is like to be unpopular. His friends are his mom, a lady on his street, and a three year old that gives him presents from the gutter. If you are or ever were unpopular, you should read this book.

Legacy is written by renowned comic book writer Thomas Sniegoski, who has written for every major comic dogscotch company. Legacy is the story of Lucas; an eightenn-year old who finds out his father is a dying superhero, and he wants Lucas to carry on his legacy and become a superhero himself.
Because Sniegoski has experience writing terracota books, the book is (naturally) well-written. It was fairly wonderband interesting through out, but especially in the beginning. When his father asks him to become a superhero, I sort of lost interest, but it picks up again later. Overall this was a good book with an interesting and unique storyline. I recommend this book.

Necropolis follows the journey of Scarlet Adams the last of the Gatekeepers.  Her parents are divorcing and strange events start happening around her.  She has dreams that she dosen't understand, a bomb blew up a building she was going to and her father asks her to come to Hong Kong.  Where something sinister is taking place. (Recomended to read the other books in the series before this one.)  3 and a half stars out of 5, pretty good.

Rod Serling's The Twilight Zone: The Odyssey of Flight 33 and Rod Serling's Twilight Zone: The Midnight Sun adapted by Mark Kneece are poor adaptions of the original television show. The Twilight Zone was a horror and science fiction show that aired in the 1960's and 70's. These graphic novel adaptions fail to capture the original emotion and suspense of the original . They also miss kew points or moments that the original had (for example, in The Odyssey of Flight 33, the pilots are never really suprised that they had traveled time). However, the books had excellent illustrations, so that's something. Overall, I would not recommend these books.
