In this book, three gorls reunite for the last day of school.  As they seperate for the summer, they examine their friendship.  They move on, but something keeps pulling them together.  Polly tries modelling.  She starts losing weight, and her mother is getting concerned.  Ama goes to an outdoor summer cap.  She expected to be inside a science lab, doing experiments.  Jo goes to her beach house, and finds new friends.  Soon, her mom tells her that her parents are getting divorced.

This book is about a family dealing with the loss of a daughter, and a mother who has fallen into deep depression. The father is away, and the daughter has to take care of the mother. It proves to much for her to handle. Overall, this was a bad book. The oldest daughter, Mazzy, is rude and obnoxious. She treats adults like they are nothing, and doesn’t seem to care about anyone. The book jumps around to different subjects, and it can get confusing. I would not recommend this book.

Something Remains, by Inge Barth-Grözinger, is a novel about the Holocaust. I liked it because it shows not only what life was like for the Jews during the Holocaust, but also for the people who dared to befriend them. I definitely  recommend this book. This book is historical fiction with a little bit of romance. I loved this book. The main character, Erich, is best friends with two boys. One, Kurt, goes over to the Nazis and stops talking to Erich. The other, Helmut, has to talk to Erich in secret because his father is being pressured and threatened. Helmut proves to be the true and loyal friend.

   This is a book about two kids who win a writing contest to be reporters in the final four. One osf the players from Minnesota State is being blackmailed from a person from the Minnesota State organization and he and the blackmailer also changed his grades so he couldn't play in the championship game. The kids help him get the blackmailer arrested after MSU wins the championship. I would recommend this book for anybody who likes sports.5 STARS!!

This is a book about a girl who is goin to Russia to see if the man that sent her the letter to come wants to marry her, and love her. She looks forwars to meet him until he says out loud " I do not love you." Sophie( who's name changed to Catherine) is crushed. Deep down she doesn't love him either He's obsessed with war and makes her play with his toys. Also,stand outside his room for hours in his uniform.  Catherine must put up with it because the only reason she wanted to come was to become Empress of Russia. You'll have to read the book to find out the end, although it is predictable.(notice the title)

Phoebe is graduating from 8th grade soon, has the most gorgeous friends in her school, and feels extremely lucky. Until her family goes through a major financial crisis. When her graduation check bounces, she doesn't know what to sat to her perfect friends. Phoebes life soon begins to feel far from lucky! I highly reccomend this book.
