I want Sen. McCain to win the presidential election because I think he deserves it more than Sen. Obama. Also, I think that he will handle it better if we have another terrorism attack because he has delt with foreign countries and war. Finally, McCain seems to have more experience than Sen. Obama.

I am supporting Obama, because he is focusing on the middle class. He is getting better health care for the middle class, so everyone can be healthy. He is also trying to lower the rate for taxes, McCain is having them go up. So what i want to come out of this election is for Obama to win!

I think that so far everythng in the presidental campaign has been crazy, with John McCain making fun of his own campaign on Saturday Night Live and how Barack Obama has been linked to former terrorists. As for supporting a candidate, I endorse Barack Obama for change! I support Obama due to the fact that his plans support the middle class and lower. He gives tax cuts to those earning under $250,000 a year. Here's the reason why I don't like McCain: He voted with Bush over 90% of the time...we can't afford more of the same.

I really think politics is interesting. I pay attention to politics for the same reason other people watch NASCAR; I’m just in it for the wrecks. However, I have recently moved from my extreme left corner towards the middle simply because I realize that none of this matters.

It doesn’t matter what gaffe Biden made this week, or what slipped into Palin’s left pocket, or what Obama’s middle name is. It’s still fun, and yes, I’m still rooting for my party’s candidate, Barack Obama, but the only thing that matters is the economy.

That distant sound of laughter is Asia. Japan, because they own the electronics we are so addicted to. The computer on which you see this might have been made in Japan. China, because they export our whole lives. I am sitting here listening to an iPod that came from China. Also, because they could destroy our economy if they wanted to. All they would have to do is sell their dollars. Instantly, our dollar would be worth nothing. Russia, because they’ve seen this before. It killed them and they never came back.

So, if nothing about the election matters, why do I feel so strongly about Barack Obama.

It is inarguable that John McCain has more experience, but in reality, neither one has any economic experience. It all comes down to whether or not they can hire a good cabinet. What America needs is someone with the foresight to see what is in store for the economy, and a good plan to fix it. This is not Phil Graham.

Also, our economy would be worth nothing without energy. We are, as Bush said, “addicted to foreign oil.” Unfortunately, I strongly disagree with Barack Obama on the issue of nuclear energy. He continues to talk about finding a scientific solution to nuclear waste. As soon as we find one that doesn’t involve the sinking it into the ocean or launching it into space or on some planet we don’t own, nuclear energy will have my full support.

Nevertheless, Barack Obama is not, nor ever has been, an oil man, and neither has his runningmate. John McCain has character, and I believe he would do whatever he thought was best for the country, but his runningmate is a very different story. “Sarah Barracuda”, as she has been called will be nothing more than an oil man from an oil state. She is way too far inside oil for my liking. Should John McCain get elected, I can only hope for the president’s good health, lest he leave us in the caring hands of the rogue, Sarah Palin.

That said, may it never be said that I do not respect John McCain. I believe that eight years ago, he was a maverick. Now, however, he has moved way over to the right to please his base. (The cliché term “appeaser” comes to mind.) I just don’t know which John McCain we’re electing.

In light of all this, maybe I should just write in Fast Money’s Dylan Radigan or Karen Finerman. They know about the economy.

It's almost depressing to think that this political season is nearly over. What started back in January, with the Iowa caucus has become one of the most riveting and historical campaigns in U.S. history. During the election cycle we've seen many qualified and worthy candidates, but in my opinion one of the most worthy candidates has been Sen. Barack Obama. Why? Because he stands for what is going to lead our nation into a bigger, better, and brighter future. On many issues Barack Obama has views that will make our country a much better place.
On energy indepedence, Obama has been a leader in targeting our oil crisis and global warming. Imagine a world without electricity. Now imagine no modern transportation. And finally think of a world with no communications. This is what's in store for us if we do not take steps to energy independence. We must brake away from our addiction to oil, and invest in green energy. First of all, there is undeniable evidence of the reality of Global Warming and it's dangers. Secondly, even if one does not believe in Global Warming, you must relize that oil will not supply our energy needs forever. It has been predicted that at this rate the world will be completely out of oil by the year 2050. It has also been predicted that the effects of global warming at this rate will take place within now and 2040. If this takes place, it's predicted that 100,000,000 people will be homless! That is definatley a problem. Remembering the tragedy of the Tsunami that impacted Sri Lanka on December 26, 2004, where roughly 100,000 people were homless, think of the tragedy, destruction, and loss of that, multiplied 1000 times! So how will we tackle our energy and climate change problems? We must diversify from carbon emitting oil, to hydroelectric power, biofuels, wind power, solar power, geothermal energy, natural gas, and hydrogen powered fuels. Drilling will not get us out of this mess.
In the Iraq War, Barack Obama has called for the responsible withdraw of troops within a sixteen month time table. We must get out! The Iraqi Prime Minister has said to get out. The Iraqi people have said to get out. The American people have said to get out. Even Pres. Bush now supports the same time table that Sen. Obama will put into action. John McCain is one of the few who still believe we should be in Iraq. He offers no direction for getting out of the country, and history shows that whens there's no direction, we don't go anywhere. We need to draw out of Iraq and send troops to where there is a real threat, Afghanistan and Pakistan.
On Education, Barack Obama opposes the unfair law of No Child Left Behind. No Child Left Behind has punished schools that are in less fortunate areas and has in fact made it more difficult for those schools to recover. Despite it's name No Child Left Behind, leaves many children behind. It takes away school funding if they are failing. It makes no sense whatsoever to kick someone while they're down. So why are we doing this to our schools? No Child Left Behind was intended to punish corrupt administrators and teachers who to quote supporters of the legislation, "Are not doing their job." The outcome of it has been a punishment of the students. Also, Sen. Obama supports funding of early childhood education. Statistics have proven that children that take part in early childhood education such as Headstart, do much better in regular schools, and more often get high paying jobs. How can we as a nation possibly survive with a generation of uneducated children? Children are our future, so therefore they must always be our highest priority.
Health Care is one of the biggest issues our next president will face. We must have a plan that covers all U.S. citizens as a right. Sen. Obama shares the same principles on this issue. The United States is the only wealthy industrialized nation in the world, that does not offer Universal Health Care to it's citizens. 47,000,000 Americans go with healt

I personally want John Mcain to win the presidential election. Mcain wants to help our nation to unify more. He has the most experience to handle the terrorists, because he was a prisoner of war. Mcain really deserves to win.

I think that McCain should get it because he would have more experance if we got hit again scine he was a pfo before and he would know how to haddle it. People say he is to old but the way i look at it is the older the better because the older the more misstakes you made and you know what left is about.

I think Obama should win the presidential election because he plans to bring back the troops from iraq, he plans on helping with our education, and he plans on helping solve the crisis of abortions. Bringing back our troops will help with conflict within the states and help us sleep at night. He plans on helping with the education of all students and recruiting an army of teachers. He also plans on helping solve the crisis of abortions by letting women who want and need one have one. Barack Obama needs to be president.

I want John McCain to win because hes older and more experienced. The main reason im for McCain is that he is Pro-Life (meaning against abortion). The other reason is that he has more realistic plans for the future. As for Obama's "Sharing the wealth" factor won't work. People will refuse this act. Right now though people don't understand what sharing the wealth means. It means sharing your money with your neighbors, Now I know it 'sounds' nice, but listen to this his sharing the wealth plan practicaly means giving your hard earned cash to some bum or for some people a person who doesn't care about the person sharing the money just the money. Now everybody is worried that McCain will turn out just like Bush but he won't he said to keep the war going only because necessary.

I believe that a person's political opinion is private. That is why when adults vote at the polls they go into a concealed booth to cast their vote. Therefore, I will not blog about who I believe should win the presidential election.

I want John McCain to win this years presidental election because he has been a pow and he wants to bring the troops back victorial not in a retreat to just lead to more attacks on America. He also knows more than Obama because of his government experience and is all about self eneryg dependant. Obama says he cares about the enviroment but dont care if we build an airport where we could just make a hole in the ground for oil and then leave. McCain would also be good for president because he may be older but that is good for experience wise and he wont turn us into a socialism wich i think Obama is trying to do. Another reason i want McCain is i dont want Obama to get in the whitehouse and then get assasinated because of his race. Woohooo! go McCain!

i think McCain should win because, he is against abortion, also he is older and and more experienced in the goverment. he wants to bring the troops back victorious, instead of surrendering. GO MCCAIN! WHOOOOOOOO!

I think Obama should win. He should win because he is trying to lower health care and he cares about the middle class. Obama unlike McCain wants to bring home the troops. I would like to see the election go in Obama's favor.

    woohoo

    Go Obama!!

    =)

I believe that Barack Obama deserves to win this presidential election. Obama has offered to get America's economy back on track by creating new jobs and make the problems on hardworking Americans easier by offering middle-class tax cuts three times the size of McCain’s. Barack also promises that his health care plan will provide accessible, affordable coverage for everyone, and it will reduce health care costs for families. Senator Barack Obama also plans to bring the troops home from Iraq, and focus more on our resources on al Qaeda in Afghanistan and finish our fight with the terrorists who attacked America on September 11th. Therefore, if i could vote today, November 4th, 2008, i would personally vote for Barack Obama.

I think that Barack Obama should win because he wants to cut taxes for low-income people which would hlp them because normally they can't get a very good job or r disabled. I also think that Barack Obama should win because he wants to hlp pay for college for people which would really hlp people and make the country more prosperous because we would have more intelligent people discovering or inventing new things. I also think Barack Obama should win because he wants to try to bring back our troops

I think John McCain should win the presidential election because he has a lot more experience than Obama. Also, even if you don't agree with McCain you know how he votes. Where Obama hasn't voted enough to know what he really belives. Plus, Obama hangs out with terrorists and his middle name is husaine. A little creepy right. Finnally McCain will allow tax breaks to everyone not just the middle class and poor.
    (: Go McCain :)

I think John McCain should be president because he has more experience than Obama. Also, even if you don't agree with McCain you know how he votes. Wher with Obama you don't know as much so he could say anything. Plus, McCain will offer tax cuts to eveyone not just the middle and lower class. Finnally Obama hangs out with Terrorists and his middle name is Husaine. Thats why I think McCain will be a better president.
    *Go McCain*

I believe John McCain should be our country's next president. McCain believes that we should defeat Al Queda in Iraq before withdrawing troops. This is important because if we don't there may be more terrorists. McCain believes that we should strive to find new energy sources. No new energy sources would mean that eventually not have electricty. McCain also believes that abortion should be banned. The child deserves to live. Obama believes that abortion should be allowed. McCain deffinetly would be the Grandeur president.
    !MCCAIN!!!!!!!!!

I think that Senator Barrack Obama should be president. He should be president because he wants to pull troops from Iraq. Just because he wants to pull troops doesn't mean that Obama wants America to lay down and die. Also, I support Obama because he wants to lower taxes. If Obama is elected he will lower taxes so that the working class Americans can afford to pay them. Finally, I want Obama elected because he wants "change" in the White House. I stand beheind this because George W. Bush's current economical standing as president is very bad.

No matter who wins this election, it will make history. We will either have our first African American president, or the oldest president in history with the first female vice president . If I could vote, I would support Barack Obama. I choose him based on his plans for ending dependence on foreign oil. I think it is important to look into alternative fuels, such as hydrogen and nuclear energy. I also think Obama will end the war in Iraq sooner. I am excited to see who wins, what it will mean to our future, and how it will change history.

i think that Oboma should win because he wants to make edicution better for kids. Also Oboma wants to to pull troops from iraq and move them to pakastan and end the war in iraq.

I think John McCain should win.
*He thinks abortion should not be that it is cruel to kill the baby.
*He says that he will made the medical insurance and that type of thing more affordable for people to buy.
*He also believes that that keeping Troops in Iraq and the other country is better than bring them back. It is better to defend our country than to be sitting ducks.
*HE wants to find new energy sources for us to use.
*Finally i think he should be president because he is older and a lot more experienced than Obama.

My opinion on the next president would be for Barack Obama to win. I think that he deserves to win because he is making Health Care affordabe, bringing the troops back from Iraq, and is recruiting teachers from the army to help with education. One thing about Health Care is most families can't aford it, therfore to take care of themselves and to go to the doctor it would be very exepensive. To change that Barack Obama is going to make it to where families can get Health Care with an afordabe price. Bringing the Troops home from Iraq would be important because they have been over there forever and they want to see their families and their families really want to see them too. For once they need a break from putting their lives on the line to save ours and come back to freedom, and to visit with relatives. One more thing that Barack Obama is supporting is education. People need education to get a good job, however education can get very exepensive and very hard to get teachers for. Barack Obama is going to recruit teachers by taking them from the army, and is going to make it affordable so people that want to go to college to get a good job can, and make the money they want to make. Barack Obama will help the economy in many ways if he is elected as president, so that is what i think will win Obama President.

I think Barack Obama should be president. He is lowering middle class taxes.also better health care. He is focusing more on america and our problems and less on the war unlike bush.Thats why i think he should be the next President

I think that the main problems facing the coming president are the economy, the war, and many domestic issues. The war is a very big issue because it is effecting not only soliders but the United States and families also. The economy has taken a recent downfall and needs to be brought back up. Domestic issues include health care, abortion and education. The new president will have many challenges to face in front of him.
