This nineweeks theme for Language Arts is to "walking in the shoes of another"-  what they have gone through and what they have done so that you may understand better their actions of the present.

If you could change lives with anyone and "walk" only in their past... who would you choose to better understand them?...and why that person?....

I would love to be able to walk in the shoes of Alexander the great. As king of Macedonia, he ruled on of the largest empires in the history of the world. I wonder what it would be like to lead great armies that conquered much of the civilized world. During a time when the world was very primitive, Alexander was a talented military strategist, using battle techniques still used in war today. That is pretty cool!
