  Louisiana was made when glacers melted in canada and ran threw the mississippi river and the sediment from the river dropped and started building up and made louisiana

  Lousisana was formed when sediments came down from the the Mississippi river and eventually built up. Lousisana is unique in that it has many marshes and wetlands, also it was once completely submerged by the gulf of mexico.It is important to learn about Lousisana because then we can do more to stop erosion.Coastal erosion is talking the length of a football field every 35 minutes. We can prevent costal erosion by stopping pollution and dmping sand on the coasts. My opinion is it's all our fault that it's eroding so fast. I know that Neworleans has small earthquakes.

  Louisiana was formed over millions of year sfrom sediment depoaiting in the Gulf of Mexico. LA is unique due to its different landforms and its people.Know ing about LA resources helps you know what goes on in our state.Coastal erosion needs to be stopped since habitas for animals are lost as well as protection from storms.Planting grasses can help with coastal erosion.Erathquakes occur in LA but often too small to feel.

  Louisiana was formed by what scientist believe to be Pangea. Pangea is a ancient super continent when all the continent were together. glacier in missouri melted causing the Mississippi river, the Mississippi river brought sediment down into the gulf which over time hardened formin louisiana

  i know when plates move and hit each other and one of the plates drops down and its called an teutonic action but louisiana has earthquakes mostly in baton rough but they are so small that you dont feel it
