  Controlling rivers is a good thing so they don't flood the lands.Our State symbols are brown pelican,bald cypress, catahoula cur,magnolia.I have been on the Pearl River.I think dams control rivers. Natural boundaries for LA are the Sabine and the Pearl River,Gulf of Mexico.

  Our state flower: magnolia, bird: brown pelican, tree: bald cypress, motto: union, justice, and confidence, dog: catahoula cur. Natural boundaries are mississippi river, sabine river, pearl river, and the gulf. Artificial are 33 deggre n, 31 degree n, and 94 degree w. i have not been in a water way; we control our rivers by levees and dams.

  we can control LA rivers by levees but,is bad for LA because it takes sediments away from rodes and the land that might help us from coastal erosion. Levees can be good because it might help save us from floods and coastal eroision. some of louisianas states symbols are the bald cypress, cahtoula cur, brown pelican, and the magnolia. is important for us to know about LAs rivers/bayous/bays to tarvel and trade.

  I think is good to control the rivers so they won't flood everythiug. The brown pelican is the states bird. Mississippi river is and natural one and 31 degrees is an artificial. It is important because we need to know where they are located if we need to go there when we get older. I probably have traveled in one but i don't now. We can control them by levess.
