  The name of the book that I'm reading is: Jackie & Me by Dan Gutman. I think that this is a great book for a summer read because anyone wouyld want to read it. In the book it's not just about Jackie Robinson and baseball. The book also talks about what it was like for Jackie Robinson to be the first African-American to break the "color barrier." During the book Jackie teaches Joe (the main character) an important lesson in life to walk away from stupid fights because in the book no matter what other players called Jackie he never did anything stupid and fought back. It is also very exciting because Joe gets caught up in some very sticky situations. Anyone would love this book for a summer read.

  The title of my book is The Incredible Journy by Sheila Burnford. This book is an excitng adventure about three freinds on a journey home. If you are an avid reader it might not take long to read it.If you like adventure books this is definatly the book for you. This book will keep you turning the pages. It's a good book to just sit down and read for a while. You'll never read a better book than this! the ending is TGTBT!+

  T he title of my book is Diary of a Wimpy Kid By Jeff Kinney. This book would be a great summer read becuase it is funny and you do not want to stop reading it.One of the things i loved about the book was how it was his life.It was more than one problem they were like mini problems in one book.I also do not like to read so to if i like it i bet you would .I cannot wait to read the second one. It was definately a different kind of book. For example i have always read books with chapters and this book had days instead. I really enjoyed reading this book i would give it five stars.TTYL

  My book that I read is called "Diary of a Wimpy Kid" by Jeff Kinney. I really enjoyed this book a lot. I think whoever likes comics will probably like this book also. The wrestling section is one of my favorites. The character named Greg is most like me sometimes in the book. He gives great advice when you are either in trouble or in need of something. I like this book so much that my next book will be the second one that just came out.

  The Spiderwick Chronicles Lucinda's Secret is by Tony Diterlizzi. This Spiderwick book is an action and adventure book. It is the third book in the Spiderwick series. You won't want to stop reading this book. You won't be able to figure out whats going to happen next. First, you think one thing is going to happen and then it changes to something else, unexpected. I garrantee this book will be one of the most exciting books you'll ever read! If you read this book you'll want to read the other Spiderwicks. I thought it was very good I give it five out of five stars. Trust me, the next time you get a book get one of the Spiderwick books.

  1. My title is Island of the Blue Dolphins and the author is Scott O'Dell.
  2. Island of the Blue Dolphins is a good summer read because it is full of suspence and adventure. And do not worry because if you are not into animals and nature than this IS the book you want to read. Because when I first looked at the title I thought it would not be a good book. Then I started reading it and it was so good. The title means that the island is shaped like a dolphin, not about a blue dolphin. This book is also a good summer read because it also is about the life stranded on a island with your enemies(the wild dogs). So, I hope u read the book.

  The title of my book is Diary of a Wimpy Kid. The author of my book is Jeff Kinney. My book is a great book for a summer read because it has good details. For example the characters are relating to a real person. The number of pages are great for a more average reader. The author made the cartoons creative. The pictures are funny and make you laugh out loud.This book has a lot of things that go on, like Greg and Rowley dress up for halloween and go out for some candy. You should pick this book if you are exciting and active.

  The book I read this mounht was a mysrery.
  It is a great read.
  I think you would like it if you like mystrey's.
  The book has at least ten little short mystery's but it is a lot of fun to read.
  One of the mystery's is the mascked ball and you have to find out how murtered the other person.
  I give this book five stars.

  The book I read was Island of the Blue Dolphins a Newbery medal book.Riley kept talking about it and said it was realy good so I was dieing to read it so I did.It was written by Scott O'Dell.It is a very adventures book and people that likes nature would realy love this book.When I frist saw the the book I thought it would be boring and ALL about dolphins and not be not my type of book but it was a GREAT book.You never will regret reading this book.It has action everywhere in this book. It will be a wonderful summer read for all boys and girls.Thanks for recomending this Riley!!! lylas

  The title of my book is Island: Escape and was written by Gordon Korman. This book was the last book of the trilogy. If you like action and drama this would be the best book for you. Six kids had to find a way off an island that was used by poachers who wanted to kill them. There was also an old atomic bomb hidden on the island. The book shows how hard it is to have to eat the same thing every day like coconuts and fish. The end is very exciting when you find out how they ultimately got off the island. This would be a good book to read during vacation. I give it 5 stars because you never want to stop reading the book.

  The title of my book is Pendragon:The Never War.The author is D.J. MacHale. This is a five out of five stars book. I think this book is a great summer read. It keeps you guessing on your tippy toes. The book would be a great choice for an avid reader. I believe the book makes sense, too. It talks in a third person view some of the time. It is good versus evil in this action - packed novel. Before reading this consider reading the first two books in the series. Will Bobby Pendragon win? You'll have to read it to find out.

  The book I read was Main Street Welcome to Camden Falls by Ann M. Martin. This book is an awsome Summer read. It is about 2 girls named Flora and Ruby. A year ago the girls mother and father died. They were all in the car crash but luckily Flora and Ruby survived. Their grandmother Min had lived with them for a whole year so she wanted to move back to Camden Falls her home.They have some friends in Camden Falls but they are still sad about moving.Find out if they like Camden Falls or not. This book is people who like omggg's and some lol's.I hope you read this book. Sorry but g2g! <3 <3 <3

  I read the book "Pretty Tough", by Liz Tigelaar. It is a book someone would want to read by the pool or on the beach. The book takes place in Malibu, which sounds beautiful. Anyone who is interested in soccer would want to read this book. It is exciting, funny, and inspirational. I would recommend this book to my friends who love to learn new things when they read. It teaches you how to be tough in life and become a better soccer player . I would give this book 5 stars. I hope u read this book.TTYL.

  The name of my book is Diary of a Wimpy Kid by Jeff Kinney. This is a great book to read at the beach or pool because it is funny and fast moving. The author was creative by putting cartoons to help you understand what's going on. The main character in my book is a 6th grader named Greg. He has a younger brother named Manny and an older brother named Rodrick. My favorite part of the book was the part where he tried to bring a video game to his neighbor's house but his dad checked the game on the computer to see if it was appropriate for them to be playing. But eventually Greg found a way to get around that, but you’ll have to read the book to find out how he does it! Diary of a Wimpy Kid is the first book in the series. The second book is called Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules and coming soon is Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Last Straw. I can't wait to get my hands on the second book! I give this book 5 stars!!!!!!!

  I read Starring Sally J. Freedman as Herself by Judy Blume. I would give it four and a half to five stars. It is great because, it's adventourous, funny, and somtimes it is actually what a girl in fifth grade thinks and how she feels. It takes place in 1947. It is about a jewish girl named Sally Freedman and how her brother Douglas, gets really sick. Then, her family decides to move to Miami Beach just for the winter so Douglas won't get sick again. The rest of the book, is how Sally survives Miami and tries to get used to it. She has to learn how to fit in. Like in Miami, the girls never wore socks to school, instead they wore sandals! So, she had to go to the bathroom and dispose of the socks. Also, she learns how to make new friends. Along the way, she meets someone that looks just like Adolf Hitler in disguise! Sally has a curious mind. This book is all about what happens to Sally. TTYL

  The title book is The Feelings Book,and the author is Dr.Lynda Madison.
  I think this book is a great summer read because... over the summer if you have a sibiling and you get in an argument you might need a little help and this book can give you some pointers about saying sorry to each other. Also, if you are jealous of what your friend is doing over the summer their is a chapter about JEALOUSY. If you're upset that your best friend was leaving you out at a sleepover you this will be the book for you! If your grandmother dies over the summer you will be very, very ,very sad. So this book can help you get yourself together. So if you think you want to read this book you better get it asap! Also if you like american girl dolls or their books you will luv this book:).

  I read the book called Dear Dumb Diary, Am I The Princess Or The Frog?; by Jim Benton. My book is about a girl named Jamie Kelly and her miserable life at school. Mainly it is about Jamie thinking that nobody likes her. The lesson in my book is to never think of yourself as nothing. I like this book because it is hilarious!! If you like crazy books you'll love this book. I would give this book four stars!!! TTYL!!!!!!!!!!

  The name of the book that i read: is Diary of a Wimpy Kid By Jeff Kinney. This book is one of the funniest books ever. i mean it is a comic basicly so of course it is funny. Plus it will get you going. This book is perfect for any body who loves comedy and just anything funny basicly. Also This book is readable for the beach, pool, your room, and anywhere. (But if you read it at the pool don't get it wet.) and trust me you don't want to get it wet. So go ahead pick this book out. start reading it asap also read it aaa.   The name of my book is The Dark Hills Divide and it is written by Patrick Carmen. This book is a great summer read for many reasons. One reason is that it is full of adventure. In the end there is a huge fight. Another reason is that I can relate to one of the characters. The character I relate to is a squirrel named Murphy. He is always hiper, outgoing, and curious.

  The author of my book is Jane Yolen and the title of the book is Devil's Arithmetic. It is about a girl named Hannah who goes to a family Seder meal and gets something unexpected. She goes back in time to her late relatives house. There her cousin Shmuel is getting married, when they arrive at the wedding Nazi soldiers arrest them. As the adventure continues they go through life in Nazi Concentration Camp. This book makes you think "what will happen next". It is also telling a story based on real Jewish history which is very interesting. I would give this book 5 stars. *****

  The title of my book I read was Diary of a Whimpy Kid, by Jeff Kinney. It is a good summer read because it is a very funney book. It is a good book for slow readers like me, because the pages have pictures and it is a big font. The story is about a kid named Greg, who is a small sixth grade student who is always being bullied by his brother Rodrick. Nothing ever goes the way he plans it to be. It is a great summer read!

  The book I read is Lily B. on the brink of COOL, by Elizabeth Cody Kimmel. This book is perfect to read during the summer because it takes place in the summer. This book is about a girl named Lily. The book is Lily's journal/summer project for Advanced English. Lily and her best friend Karma have been together every summer but Karma went to Executive camp and Lily didn't want to go. Then Lily meets a new friend/relative and they get into alot of trouble together. This book is really exciting and fun. Almost anybody can relate to the caracters. ttyl
