Scientists just went to the Himalayas and found 350 animals and plants.We are wondering why they haven't found them until now.I think scientists have not found them because they were hiding form all of the people and changes in the environment.The scientists didn't have good cameras to help them see the animals also.This is what I think about the wild things.
The scientists did not find these species because they did not have enough money.So they could not by the right equipment. then so it was hard to find species. Because the Himalayas are a rough part of Asia in the eastren Himalayas . then they spanned several nations because they are cutting down trees and pollution in the air. But the worst is the illegal hunters.So they are starting protection program in the Himalayas so some of the new species could have been drowned by flooding from global warming in the Himalayas.And as Madison said they did not have up to date cameras.this is why they did not discover these species.
Scientists would have never found these species before because. Wildlife expert Bittu Sahgal thinks that they would havefound these species if people kept setting forest fires and don't stop pollution. If people keep polluting the animals could die or get sick. Then scientists not be able to discover them. This is why scientists haven't discovered these animals before. And because they did not have as much technology like advanced cameras so they could take pictures of them like Kiah said.
Scientists have discovered so many new insects & animals. They found all of them in Asia. Scientists have found more then 350 plant and animal species! They have found them on the Himalayas. Maybe one of the reasons why they didn't find them back then was because we have better technology like... video cameras and special binoculars. We also have special cars & helicopters!
why might scientists have not discovered these species until now? because they could be discovered in different places like china,spiane india.Scientists have found about hundred new species also 242 plants and16 amphibians as well.They found two birds one of the birds have and extra long curvy bill.They also found four teen fish .Scientists are very excited about the discoveres but they are worried about there habitats. home are in big trouble. Loggers are cutting down trees. Pollution Damage the Him Himalayas are located in Asia the mountains are in five countries in Asia Bhutan china India Nepal and Pakistan.
Scientists might not of found these species until now because those animals might not of been born until now.Scientists research turned up hundreds of new species including 242 plants,16 amphibians,16 reptiles,14 fish,2 birds,2 mammals,and at least 61 invertebrates which are animals without back bones.One mammal the scientists found was the leaf deer.Scientists are very exited about the new discoveries but they are also very worried because the animals habitats are in danger.Scientists are not wasting any time.Scientists and the government are trying to stop illegal hunting to try to protect the animals in the Himalayas.Environmentalists are suggesting that residents in the Himalayas be given more responsibility over the land.That way they can look after the animals.Scientists expect to fin 3,000 to 5,000 new species that could be discovered over the next five years.The Himalayas are in Asia and it is hard to get to because of the rough terrain.
Scientists may not have discovered these species until now because it costs a lot of money to go up into the Himalayas. Maybe there wasn't enough money before.It also must have also taken a lot of time to get all the way up there and then proceed with the safari.Some of the new animals might have been scared before and just were, out of sight. Now there might be new technology that makes less noise so the animals aren't as afraid anymore.Also,with some of the tallest mountains in the world, the Himalayas are a very rugged landscape,and, they are all the way in Asia. If the equipment was in America , so it had to be flown there then taken all the way up the mountain. If it was heavy, that would take much effort,plus, a lot of money. These are the reasons that these species probably haven't been discovered yet.

Scientists have discovered a lot of species in the Himalayas.It is a mountain in Asia but they have not discovered species until now.Because they don't have the right equipment said one of my class mates.They found fish,birds,flowers,plants and a lot more.The researchers combed the eastern Himalayas from 1998 to 2008.There will be close 3000 to 5000 species that could be discovered over the next 5 years,predicts wild life.
Because people didn't have the technology a long time ago to look for the animals in the Himalayas. The Himalayas are this huge amount of mountains including the tallest peak in the world, Mt. Everest. A team of scientists with the World Wildlife Fund discovered a wide range of species in the Himalayas and they discovered 242 plants,16 amphibians and 16 reptiles. They also found 14 fish,two mammals,two birds and 61 invertebrates, or animals with no backbones. Also if people didn't stop polluting, there wouldn't be much more discoveries. So I say that it was a good time to look now, not later, and they had to stop illegal hunting. Good job scientists!!
Scientists may not have found species until now because they have better technology now than before. Before they only had binoculars and a camera that doesn't even zoom in or take videos of what animals do or what they eat. They like saving animals. I would love that job because I love animals and nature. Guess what they found a leaf dear! It is the smallest dear ever! It is the weight of a medium size dog! Isn't that amazing! They found all of those animals in the Himalayas. The Himalayas are in Asia. It is on very hard rough terrain. that would take at least 1 hour and 45 minutes to get up the mountain.It really would feel like it is like 20 hours. These scientists rule for looking for these animals!
Why did scients not find these animals. More researches were helping and they had a fun raiser so they got money for tools. Researchers found frogs that could fly or glide throw the air and other species because they spanned more places. They got more money and more protection for the Himalayas.
I think that they haven't found these animals until now because they probably didn't have the right equipment to find these animals and plants.Some of the animals and plants they found are ...Blue diamoud impatiens,Leaf deer, Orange spotted snakehead,and the reddish-brown shrimp.Don't they sound cool?Well I think they do.
