  Yes I think 90 minutes of homework is too much in Florida schools. Because after school activities take up a lot of time. And the days you don't have after school activities you might want to spend some time with your family. It would be better if you did 45 minutes of homework. 15 minutes of reading 10 minutes of math and 20 minutes of a project or something. That is why I think 90 minutes of homework is too much for 4th and 5th graders.

  I do not think 90 minutes of homework is a fair time. About 55 minutes is a good time! Kids from Florida have 90 minutes of homework. Most kids have sports or after school activities to do that take up most of the day. 90 minutes of homework is a lot of time that is my opinion!!!

  They would also not have enough time to eat supper or do activities.
  What about activities? Us kids wont have enough time to do any projects or extra math at home.

  because it takes away a lot of playtime after school and some people have after school activities like sports and in school we have after school activities,like kick ball and chess
  club,but you need some homework because you need too learn something too get smart.You also need too spend time with friends and family,if you didn't they wouldn't really be your friend because friends hang out together.Ninety minutes of homework is too much for 4th and 5th graders.

  I think 90 minutes of homework is way to much time for fourth or fifth graders.Homework should just be about 30 or 40 minutes a day.I think this because most kids have sports like soccer, football, baseball and other things after school.They can do 40 minutes then do 50 minutes after the sport is over but that is way to much.If you have a game and you have over an hour of homework you've got to be so mad.I have an older brother and he doesn't even have 90 minutes of homework! The End Conclusion:I think 90 minutes of homework is way to much homework.

  In Palm Beach Florida parents are trying to stop school teachers from giving so much homework.I agree that 90 minutes of homework is too much for fourth and fifth graders.Even if you do good on a homework assignment you still might not do good grades and kids have after school activates to do and if they have to much homework they can't do them.I agree with the WR that kids need a balance of school and activates outside or kids will get lazy.It also takes up a lot of time you could spend with your family.I think you should have at least 40 minutes of homework each night though.

  Ninety minutes of homework a lot for fourth and fifth graders.The question says"Is ninety minutes of homework too much for kids?I think it is a lot;because when you go home yes yo have homework but you only need 30-45 minutes of it.Ninety is okay for six seven and eighth graders and so on but fourth and fifth are in elementary!When you get home you want to play and then do your homework.This plan stared in palm beach Florda and I think they should change it.Because of this I can agree ninety minutes is too much.

  Is 90 minutes of homework a night to much for kids? No because 90 minutes is okay for fourth and fifth graders.As Anuva said several subjects in those grades.If you have math,reading,science and spelling,then it will be enough to do a night.Other kids that do it in 10 minutes still should study.If you don't study a lot then you won't know a lot.Maybe if the kids don't have math they could do math.Or they could wright a letter to the someone in the school if they were

  I think the amount of home work you do should have to do with your personal schedule. Also, some experts point out that more homework does not necessarily lead to higher grades. It is important to have homework though. A balance is needed so that your bran isn't bulging from a day of school work, and a night of homework.I think that Palm Beach, Florida should make that balance.It should be forty minutes to an hour depending on if you're learning a special subject. And, if it takes you an hour to do that, you needed the practice. All in all,it's important to be ale to review, and do other activities, while achieving that balance.
