  I think that Oprah should support Global Warming. Why she should is simple;
  
  * Only about 20,000 to 25,000 bears exist
  
  * Hudson Bay's polar bear population has dropped 22% since the early 1980's.
  
  *Polar bears are a potentially endangered species
  
  *Scientists believe that polar bears will be vulnerable to extinction within the next century!
  
  These are only some of the long list of devastating facts. You must understand; we humans are causing an whole SPECIES to become extinct. Poverty, illnesses, starvation, they can all wait. You talk of saving some lives, but I talk of saving a species.
  Choose what you want, but I'll stand with the polar bears.

  I think the Angel Network should support treatment for breast cancer because it effects over 100 thousand people. In the U.S. between 2001 and 2005, 25 out of 100,000 people died of breast cancer. It can happen to both men and women. The majority of people who have it do not have a family history of breast cancer. As you can see, it can effect many people and when it does happen those people need support. That is why Oprah's Angel Network should support treatment for breast cancer.

  I think Oprah should buy water systems and filters for people in less developed countries (Africa). I used the facts on the paper and found them interesting and useable. Oprah should use my idea because many people in other countries are sick from water sanitation related illnesses. Many have to walk really far for water and it might spill on their way back. Those water systems would be close to towns and at schools. I think everyone deserves a nice glass of water.

  The cause that I thought Oprah should support with her Angel Network funds was global warming studies. I thought that she should support this cause because global warming is affecting our planet. It's making our "normal" temperatures rise, which melts ice, kills polar bears, and in 2030, Glacier National Park will not have glaciers anymore. 15-37% of plant and animal life will be wiped out by 2050. Oprah really could make a HUGE impact in our world by donating money to support global warming prevention research, beacuse of the fact that people LOVE her.People would follow Oprah, which would make the global warming prevention research go along even faster.

  I think that the cause that Oprah and the Angel Network should put the money to is the families Asia, Africa, and Latin America that have no food or clean water to drink. The reason that I think this is because the number of people dieing each day because of hunger is increasing up every day. I think that we should help them before the number gets so high that it would take way more money than the money that we already have to help them. There are about 25,000 people that die every day because of hunger. That is a crazy number when there is something that we can do about it. If we all do our part to help than together we can save thousands of lives in Asia, Africa, and Latin America.

  You guys are really convincing. It is so difficult to really choose. The only way I can decide is to think of the one cause that affects all, and I think it is global warming. Regardless of poverty, hunger, or cancer, if we do not take care of the Earth, no one will be able to live...What do you think?

  Hey!! I totally agree that global warming is WAY important!! The polar bears could die!! and so could we!! I mean, come on people, if I can turn off the light when I leave a room, turn off the water when I brush my teeth, and TRY to get ready in time for the bus, anyone can!! AND the polar bears have like, NO voice, way up north, where their home is melting before their eyes!! Polluting needs to stop, before we kill ourselves out of pure laziness and greed!! We can carpool, or walk, or ride bikes places, we can turn out lights and water when we're not using it!! And we can all do little things to help the 20,000 to 25,000 polar bears there are left, which 60% of them live in Canada, and Canada's number of Polar bears dropped 22% since the 1980's!! So, just to save the Earth, us,and the Polar bears, can't you people just TRY to go green? just a little? pleeeeeease? YAY!!! NOW GO GREEN!!! SERIOUSLY!! NOW!!!thanks!!
