I think a really good book is a Corner of the Universe. This is a good book because it is about a girl who's uncle comes to her town during the summer and starts a lot of problems. The plot is amazing and I couldn't put this book down. I think you would enjoy this book.
I suggest a good book to read over Christmas is the first book in The Series Of Unfortunate events:The Beginning. This is a thrilling book about three orphans who lost their parents in a fire in their house. Violet Baudalaire, the oldest, is an amazing inventor who can fix almost anything with her hair tied up in her violet ribbon. Klaus Baudalaire, the middle child, can remember anything he reads, which usually gets the Baudalaire children out of trouble. The youngest child, Sunny Baudalaire, who is only 1 or 2 years old, love to bite things.In this book, they have to live with the evil Olaf. He makes them do terrible things and treats them poorly. But the Baudalaires get their share of revenge. If you like this book, there a twelve other books in this series.During the Baudalaires travels, they meet very interesting people everywhere they go. But you'll have to read the books to find out what happens!
I think that The Big Field is a great book. Everybody that loves basseball should definetly read this book. It is also writen by the best sports writer in the U.S. I think and so do a lot of other people. The conflict is a forteen year old kid, Hutch that plays baseball with another kid, Darryl. They are both really good at baseball. Hutch gets mad at Darryl for reasons you will find out and lets his team down. You should definetly read this book.
A good book to read is The Nobodies. This book was really good because it has some adventure in it and some mystery. It is filled with unusual things. When I picked it up I couldn't stop reading it. The main part of this story is when Fern goes to camp she runs into all sorts of trouble like getting kicked out of her cabin and there are a ton of mole holes.So it was really good I strongly reccomend this book
I really liked the book The Sisterhood of the Traveling pants. It's about four girls who have these lucky pair of jeans. The four main characters are Bridget but they call her Bee,Carmen,Lena and Tibby. This is the third book and their last summer together. They each go somewhere for the summer I would tell you more, but you'll have to read it.
I think that over vacation you should read "Twilight". It is a book full of anticipation. Twilight is about a girl named Bella Swan who just moved to Forks, Washington (near Seattle) from Phenix, Arizona. Bella is a shy 17 year old high schooler. When she goes to her first day of school, she is greeted by many nice people. And at lunch, she has many people to sit with. But while examining the lunch room, Bella notices five very different (different looking) kids. Her new friend Jessica tells her that they are the Cullen's. There is Alice, Jasper, Emmett, Rosalie, and last but not least, Edward. They are all light skinned, beautiful people, even the boys. After many days, Bella stricks up a conversation with Edward. Bella and Edward become friends, even if Edward says it is "not safe". But after a while, they start dating. Bella is starting to get suspisous about Edward, because he doesn't come to school on sunny days. Neither do the rest of the Cullens. Bella then finds out a very big secret about them. This book is great for eveyone because once you start reading it, you really can not put it down!
I know a great book to read over Christmas,it is called "Harry Potter and the sorseror's stone. It is about a young boy named Harry Potter who lives with his evil aunt and uncle. But Harry has just learned that he is a wizared, and now he has to go to Hogworts which is a school for young wizareds. But on his way to learning he is greeted by the man who killed Harry's parents and now wants a stone that would grant him eternal power. I can't tell you any more put I really recomend this book if you want a good read.
I recommend the series Guardians of Ga'Hoole to people who like animals and action packed books. I recommend this book because it is about owls that have wars to either keep owl kind safe, or mind-wash owls to make armies that can take over owl kingdoms that descriminate other owls
I recommend the book The Tail of Emily Windsnap! This book is about a young girl Emily Windsnap who finds out that Mermaids are real. This book is for all ages! Its the kind of book that makes you think something is going to happen, but its better!
I recommend the book Dragon Slippers. Bcause it's a very good book for everyone. I's about s girl named Creel who get a pair of magical slippers and a gold dragon. She wanted dragon gold,she got a pair of shoes. I swear you will love this book!!!!! You will want to start reading it as sooon as posible.
