    Seed and Seedling Fundraiser

    Students are posting descriptions of the seeds and seedlings for sale.  Read the comments below for descriptions of seeds for Red Sails Lettuce, Black Seeded Simpson Lettuce, Marketmore Cucumber, Jewel Mix Nasturtium, Gem Marigold, and for seedlings of Conchos Jalapeno, Carmen Sweet Pepper, Yellow Pear Tomato, Pruden's Purple Tomato, Genovese Basil, Purple Basil, and Parsley.  Thanks for your support!

    Dig Day a Success!

    After spending Thursday digging, students had turned over the soil in most of the garden plot.  Mr. Hubbard from MGWS very generously volunteered to rototill, and he was able to do this while we were on our field trip today.  Now all we need is organic material to add to the soil...  then we can start planting!  There was a great article in the Portsmouth Herald today by David Ramsay: http://www.seacoastonline.com/articles/20090402-NEWS-90402041
