How AIDS affects your cells... AIDS (or acquired immunodeficiency syndrome) is caused by HIV (or Human Immunodeficiency Virus). HIV destroys a cell called CD4 helper lymphocyte. This lymphocyte is part of the immune system (the system that fights off germs and infections) but because HIV has killed all of the CD4 cells people with the virus start to get serious infections. Most of the infections they wouldn't get if they hadn't become immune deficient. A lot of people eventually die from this illness because their bodies can't fight of the viruses.
Aids is a disease that you can get from sexual activity, transmission of fluids, and needle use. Aids are not funny, you can die from an infection because you have a reduced amount of white blood cells. When you have aids inside your blood the infection travels through your body and attacks the white blood cells which makes your immune system weak. Be careful and be safe so you don’t get aids, trust me they aren’t fun!
When AIDS enter the body the get into your blood stream. Once there the tag cells or the connect to cells. Then they work there way into the cell. When they get into the cell they take it over. They tell the cell through DNA to create more of the virus. After they do that they all leave the cell to go find more cells to infect.
Aids is a type of disease where the body is unable to fight off many infectious diseases that it normally could. There is no cure for AIDS, which is why prevention is so important. You don't really get aids you first get HIV and then you mite develop aids. You get HIV from someone how has it even if they don't test positive. So even if you get HIV you can take a drug that will slow down the damage to your immune system.
AIDS affect cells by infecting the brain and can cause different diseases in the mouth and kidney. People who have AIDS or HIV can get pneumonia (bad coughing or breathing problems). It also hurts the eyes and the organs of the digestive system, the kidneys, the lungs, and the brain (as stated before).
the HIV virus takes over the T cell and destroys them. then the imune system cant defend your body and then you get the aids virus.;-(
it infecks your body with a fast speding deses. thats very hard to get rid of.
HIV is a virus that leads to AIDS. It takes years after acquiring HIV to have AIDS. When you are infected with the HIV virus it attacks the immune system. The virus is in the bloodstream where it attacks lymphocytes. Lymphocytes are white blood cells that are part of the immune system. These cells find pathogens and create antibodies to fight them. The virus uses the lymphocytes to reproduce. The HIV virus takes over the cell and uses it to make copies of itself. When the new viruses leave the cell they kill it and go to infect more cells. Over time the virus destroys the immune system. It gets so bad that you can’t fight infections. Once it reaches this point you have AIDS.
When someone contracts the AIDS disease, their immune system gets damaged by the virus. This means that if someone who has contracted AIDS might not live if they get a viral or a bacterial infection. The problem is that their immune system isn't making enough lymphocytes to fend off the virus or the bacteria. Thats why they may not live or get very sick and never get better.
Aids is a disease that targets the white blood cells and that makes it hard to fight off infections. If you have Aids you will have less than 200 CD4 cells. CD4 cells are cells that have CD4 molecules on the surface. These cells help alert the immune system when there is a virus or other micro-organism in you, so if you do not have many of these cells it makes it hard for your body to be alerted when you do have a disease in you. It makes it very hard for your immune system to function.
AIDS destroys the immune system, mostly affecting lymphocytes (a type of white blood cell). Lymphocytes are a type of fighter cell that helps fight off germs and diseases in your body. When AIDS enters the body it attaches to a lymphocyte and works its way into the cell where it completely takes over by making copies of itself. The new viruses leave the lymphocyte and attack the other lymphocytes and multiply in it. Once the virus infects a lymphocyte, it can no longer fight off infection. It may take years after the person was infected for them to actually get AIDS.
After HIV initially attaches to a cell of the immune system, it makes its way inside of the cell. After it's inside, the HIV virus completely takes over the cell. The cell makes a bunch of copies of itself. Then all the copies and itself go and infect all the other cells. Then all the virus cells multiply in the body. With this happening the body can no longer fight infected diseases.
Aids is caused by the human immunodeficiency virus which is HIV. HIV destroys a type of defense cell, called CD4 helper lymphocyte. Lymphocytes are part of the immune system. That fights off infectious diseases. So by the lymphocytes destroying your defense cells, your not going to be able to fight off the infectious disease.
You can get aids when you have sexually intercourse , or when you share needles with other people. It starts out with HIV coming into your body and taking over T cells. There the virus reproduces and makes lots of copies and goes throughout your body destroying and taking over more healthy T cells. Once taken over the T cells cannot fight off the virus. After years of being infected with HIV, The person will most likely lack too many T cells and get sick with AIDS. AIDs can be a serious and is not a joke. You could die from it , or lose ability to have baby's.
Hey MR.O I know that the AIDS virus kills white blood cells. I also know that AIDS virus destroys the immune system by destroying the cells in our bodies. The reason why people die from AIDS is because all the virus you get from AIDS your body can't produce enough white blood cells. Well thats all the information that i could find.
Nice work kids! O'B
Hey Mr. O, I have fixed this blog to make it readable. I found out that AIDS effects the body at the cellular level by having the immune system dramatically lowered. AIDS is spread into the body by the AIDS virus taking over one cell to constantly multiply and give the job of AIDS instead of that cells regular job in the body and sending that information to the copies it makes to get the disease of AIDS. Thank you for letting me redo this Mr. O I owe you one!
