The novel ends with Esperanza teaching Isabel how to crochet the zigzag stitch.  How do the "moutains and valleys" compare to the plot of the novel?

It goes with the plot of the novel because in the start of the book Esperanza's grandmother is teaching her how to zigzag stitch and she says 'never be afraid to start over' and Esperanza had to start over alot in her life. Now she is teaching Isibel the same.

I agree with Sierra.Abuleta teachs her in the beginning, and then Espranza passes it down.

when abulita sate down at the table to her what thear adventure was. esperanza used the mountians as good things and the vallys as bad things that happend to them at the migret camp.To explain it better and male it more intresting.

The stiches relate because the mountains represent the good things that happened to them and the vallies represent the bad things that happened to them.

They compared the moutains and vallys to live. Like Esperanaz was rich and that was a moutain. When she was on the tain going to the u.s that was a vally.

The mountains mean something good happened. And the vallys mean that something bad happened at the camp she lived in.Also she learned it from her grandmother and now she is passing it on to Isabel.I think Esperanza did a good thing.

When the book sterted Esperanza was rich and she had all this stuff and when her house burend down she lost almost every thing. When she was rich it was like she was on a monten. Then she went with Miegal and was not rich any more and had to fit in and was doing better every day. Next she had to work and was getting made fun of because she never worked a day in her life. When she was proe it was like she was in the vallies. In the beging of the book Abuleta talt Esperanza how to steach, then Easperanza talt Izabell how to stech.

The mountains and valleys are the same as the book because it is like there are ups and downs in Esperanza's life and there are ups and downs in the blanket. The mountains are like the good thins that happen and the valleys are like the bad things that happen, to me.

Mama described the mountains and valleys as good things and bad things happening in everybody's life.
